This file is the virtual image of everything within your network, and all you have to do is go into the NAS, double click and all of your data is accessible so that while an expert is fixing your server, your company can still work and not suffer any more downtime. If your office building catches fire and the NAS system is ruined, then you need an offsite location where your data backs up to the Cloud, or even multiple Clouds, or another server, so that you always have access to your data, even in the event of a physical disaster.

4 Importance of Continuous Backup If your business is backing up data once a day and your system failed, you would lose an entire day s worth of work this is why continuous data backup is necessary. Your data will be backed up every fifteen minutes, so that if you do encounter a system failure, a dropped laptop, a disastrous flood, or if your server goes down you will be losing fifteen minutes worth of data rather than a day s worth of data, or ALL of your data in the event that you don t backup your data at all. Money cannot buy your data back the only way to ensure that your data is safe is to continuously back up information and to have the insurance of a disaster recovery plan and solution. When your system goes down, it could take 15, 30, 60 days or even longer until a technician can fix your server or until your new server is set up.
