CampusFrance keeps track of all foreign students studying in France: students who are directly enrolling in French Universities and students on study abroad programs (that s you!). *You MUST register with CampusFrance in order to get your student visa* You can read more about CampusFrance online at:

2 PASSPORTS If you don t have a passport that is valid through JUNE 2012 for fall semester abroad and NOVEMBER 2012 for full year and spring semester abroad, apply for one today! If you don t have a passport, you can t complete CampusFrance or get your visa! Processing Times: Routine Service: 4-6 weeks Expedited Service: 2-3 weeks Processing Fees: $110 Application Fee $25 Execution Fee (1 st time applicants) $60 Expedited Processing Fee * We suggest you request expedited processing (extra $60) to allow plenty of time to apply for your student visa. Note: If you are in the process of renewing your passport, wait until you have your new passport before registering with CampusFrance. Your new passport will have a different passport number than the old one.

3 CAMPUS FRANCE To get started go to: Important Note: CampusFrance does not work well on Macs, or when using Safari or Chrome. Please use Internet Explorer if possible. Firefox is second best option.

6 Click VALIDATE at bottom when done.

10 Put in your high school graduation year. Then click the + Click + to add activity.

11 Select Post-Secondary Studies from activities list.

12 Click next when done.

13 Click + to add 3-4 courses. Click save when done.

14 Click validate.

15 Check your tabs. EDUCATION should now be COMPLETE! Click Validation tab

16 Now click LINGUISTIC SKILLS tab.

17 Skip Stays and Exam/Test. Scroll down to French Language Competency. Validate when done.

18 Check your tabs. LINGUISTIC SKILLS should now be COMPLETE!

19 Now click GOALS tab.

20 Skip the photo not necessary! Write a sentence in each PINK box. For example: 1. RESUME: I am a major / minor at planning to graduate in STUDY GOAL: In Paris my goal is to study French language, history and culture. 3. PROFESSIONAL PLANS: I am interested in being a translator or French teacher. 4. MY GOALS: I aspire to read and write French fluently.

21 Click VALIDATE when done.

22 Check your tabs. GOALS should now be COMPLETE! Click Validate when all four sections are complete. Make sure everything is correct first!

23 CONTACTING CAMPUS FRANCE Once your application is submitted, you cannot make any changes to it. Aw, man! After the submission, if you need to make changes to your personal information (address, password, phone, etc.) you MUST send an through your CampusFrance personal log-in page. Correspondance from CampusFrance will be sent to your CampusFrance Inbox. Remember to log into CF periodically to check for messages.

24 CAMPUS FRANCE FEE Right after you submit your online application, send a $70 money order (certified mail HIGHLY recommended) with your admission letter to: CampusFrance 4101 Reservoir Rd. NW Washington D.C Write your CampusFrance ID number on the money order. CampusFrance fees are separate from the visa processing fees. Allow time to receive your Quittance de Paiement. Processing takes at least THREE weeks! Remember to check your CampusFrance inbox periodically for your Quittance.
