5 Tibor Pomper, former football player Manipulation of matches, potential match-fixers: a footballer s point of view Tibor admitted fixing a match in the past. His honesty and regret of his past actions was very moving and a good lesson for everyone who was present.

6 We also took steps for the purpose of requesting the coaches to participate in the project and join the joint committee, however they were forbidden to participate.

7 The results of the conference: Our Joint Committee was successfully established. 8 We have decided on the next crucial steps: to carry out a survey on match fixing amongst the professional players participating in our Division I and Division II to reach out to the players by visiting the teams individually

9 - to print out the Code of Conduct in large and during the educational visits, place it on the message board in every changing room

11 During the seminar, our team coordinator, Krisztián Füzi, talked about the Don t Fix It! program in details. Main issues raised during the seminar: Level of match-fixing risk and awareness: The match-fixing risk in Hungary is considered by the participants as high. Awareness about match-fixing issues has been developing since around two years (especially after two big football cases, involving more than 50 people the first one with around 600,000 bribes). According to most of the participants, there is still a clear lack of information, education and prevention about match-fixing in Hungary.

13 Ongoing match-fixing criminal cases in front of the Hungarian courts bundaperek 2009, Germany The investigation of the Bochum prosecutor's office revealed certain Hungarian relations We follow the cases as well as the related media More than 4 years of investigation Cooperation of Hungarian, Finnish, Italian and German authorities According to the content of the indictments altogether: 45 accused persons :players, coaches, referees, club owners, managers as well as 1 FIFA licensed agent The results of 33 Hungarian and international matches have been manipulated Two defendants (K. Zoltan and L. Matyas) are involved in 3 and one, Aczel is involved in 2 out of the 4 cases per occasions

14 As a result, the Prosecutor s Office has separated 4 different lines in the trial stage (due to the large number of accused persons and witnesses, economical reasons) 1) REAC 17 defendant 4 of them plead guilty; admitted to commit the offence Tibor Pomper was present at our conference 2) Siófok, Diósgyőri VTK 21 defendant 3) Underage teams (U19) 2 member case 4) International line Most emphasized and most important line 1 Singaporean + 12 Hungarian accused persons +1 Eger line is still under investigation
