THE FEATURES OF SPEEDY SKI ROLLER ROLLERS This document features the various Speedy Ski Roller rollers and short descriptions of them all. It helps you to make the best use of your Speedy Ski Roller products. S- SERIES S- 20 A linear structure that is very well suited for cold weather conditions and dry snow (the humidity of air less than 60%). S- 50 A linear structure mainly used in northern America. To be combined with other structures for optimal performance. S- 100 A linear structure that can be used with another, more weather specific structure under moist conditions, when the humidity of air is over 75%. Brings stability to the ski and can be used on hard skating track during cold weather to stabilize the ski. This linear structure efficiently removes water from underneath the ski under various weather conditions, thereby making the ski slide better. Please note that this structure is not to be used when the snow is very fine. Works well combined with other structures when the snow is wet.

S- 200 A linear structure that can be used with another, more weather specific structure under moist conditions when the air humidity is over 75%. Brings stability to the ski and can be used on hard skating track during cold weather to stabilize the ski. This linear structure efficiently removes water from underneath the ski under various weather conditions, thereby making the ski slide better. Please note that this structure is not to be used when the snow is very fine. This 2mm linear structure is preferred as the basic structure by skiers in North- America. Works well combined with other structures when the snow is wet. S- 300 A linear structure that can be used with another, more weather specific structure under moist conditions when the air humidity is over 75%. Brings stability to the ski and can be used on hard skating track during cold weather to stabilize the ski. This linear structure efficiently removes water from underneath the ski under various weather conditions, thereby making the ski slide better. Please note that this structure is not to be used when the snow is very fine. This 3mm linear structure is preferred, as the basic structure by skiers in Northern Europe. S- 400 A linear structure that can be used with another, more weather specific structure under moist conditions. Brings stability to the ski and can be used on hard skating track during cold weather to stabilize the ski. This linear structure efficiently removes water from underneath the ski under various weather conditions, thereby making the ski slide better. Please note that this structure is not to be used when the snow is fine. Works well combined with other structures when the snow is wet.

K- SERIES K An extremely sparse spiral structure, made for the extremely warm and wet conditions that usually occur during spring time. Works well with wet snow. This Structure is usually combined with another structure. The recommended temperature range for this structure is approximately C. This roller isn t manufactured anymore and once we run out of stock, the deliveries will stop. KI- 30 A spiral structure for temperatures around 0 C. For a mixed snow type: dry and wet snow combined. This structure also works well when very wet snow is falling. SPECIAL- H SERIES Z1-30 A pine twig structure designed to work well with cold frost weather and sticky powder- like snow. This structure is very well suited for skating and especially sprint racing. Despite the main purpose of this roller being to work well under the conditions mentioned earlier, it is useful for a wider range of conditions too, and can be used in general when the humidity of snow is 45%- 85%. The recommended temperature range for this structure is approximately - 16 C 0 C. Z1N- 36 A Specially shaped non- linear pine twig structure that is extremely multipurpose. The structure is suited for both very cold weather conditions and even for temperatures above 0 Celsius. This structure requires fine- grained snow to work well! The recommended temperature range for this structure is approximately - 17 C +4 C

Z2N- 33 Z2N- 33 is a non- linear pine twig structure, and it closely resembles Z1N- 36 in many respects, only this roller is designed for sligthly warmer weather conditions. This roller is well suited for a variety of weather conditions and for both skiing techniques. The recommended snow type for Z2N- 33 is grainy, coarse and moist. The recommended temperature range for this roller is approximately from - 5 C +5 C. W W is a pine twig structure designed for wet conditions (the humidity of air over 85%). This structure works both when the temperature is above and when it s below zero degrees Celsius. W has good skating and classic abilities. The recommended temperature range for this roller is approximately from - 2 C +4 C. M1 M1 is a unique broken pine twig structure designed to channel the water underneath the ski in a unique way that is extremely well suited for very wet snow. M1 enhances the gliding abilities when the snow is extremely wet regardless of the ski technique used. The recommended temperature range for this roller is C. H This pine twig structure is designed for warm and wet weather conditions that usually occur during spring time. The emphasis in designing this roller was on good skating and uphill properties, and these goals were also met when the product was ready for the markets. Many national teams use this roller for extremely wet snow. The recommended temperature range for this roller is approximately C.

H This extremely sparse pine twig structure is designed for warm and wet weather conditions that usually occur during spring time. H works well when the track is extremely wet. This roller has also shown remarkable results when the track is iced, hard and the frozen snow old! The recommended temperature range for this roller is approximately C. Z1D SPECIAL- DOUBLE H This roller is unique in its ability to create separate pine twig structures on both sides of the middle gap of the ski. This type of structure has shown very good results on the classic style track. Under wet and warm spring conditions this structure can be used both ways simultaneously by pulling the device both ways (from the tip of the ski till the end of it and vice verse). The recommended temperature range for this roller is approximately C. ZERO 1-20 This roller is great for fine- grained and dry snow that can often be found in Central Europe. Zero 1-20 is well suited for both skiing techniques. The structure produced by this roller has shown remarkable results when windy weather dries the top snow layer on the track but the conditions remain moist otherwise. This roller has been a top seller for many years now, and is used by many national teams. Especially biathlon teams rely on this roller. During the Liberec world championships many medals were won using this structure. ZIN- 40 This roller is from the Vancouver 2010 selection. An excellent all- around roller, suitable for various weather conditions, doesn t weaken the gliding abilities under any conditions. Under wet and warm spring conditions, when the snow is rough, this structure can be used both ways simultaneously by pulling the device both ways (from the tip of the ski till the end of it and vice verse). The recommended temperature range for this roller is approximately C.

SV- 3 The temperature range for this roller is degrees centigrade, and the recommended humidity of air higher than 85%. When new, wet snow is falling the structure should be produced by pressing the device with minimum pressure. At temperatures very close to zero it's recommended that the structure be used both ways on the tail of the ski (after the normal structuring move the device also from the tail towards the tip of the ski, press firmly when structuring). V2 This roller is a further developed version of the popular V1 roller. Designed for temperatures between when the humidity of air is above 85%. Excellent for problematic snow types: e.g. when man- made snow and natural snow have been mixed. Works especially well when snow is falling (humidity of snow 19-23%). H A pine twig shaped excellent basic structure that has various uses and is a stock piece of equipment for many national skiing teams. This structure has particularly good uphill properties. The recommended temperature range for this roller is approximately C.

SPECIAL- O SERIES SPECIAL- O The Special- O roller is designed to structure the middle gap of the ski. This roller produces a linear structure in the middle gap of the ski, and thereby enhances the gliding abilities of the ski when the snow is fine- grained and dry (the humidity of air below 60%). We recommend this roller to be used with the Z1D roller. The recommended temperature range for this roller is approximately C. This roller is brand specific, and each common ski brand has an individually designed special- O roller. The ski brands, for which this roller is available, are Fischer, Atomic, Salomon, Madshus, Peltonen and Karhu. SPECIAL- S SERIES S- 4-3 This double spiral structure has been designed for the short sprint races that require good uphill properties and the best possible gliding abilities. Extremely good results have been achieved by applying this structure only on the tail part of the ski. PH- 30 TOUR- 08 A combined structure that is the perfect solution for the troublesome weather conditions that are caused by falling snow or sleet. Another important feature of this particular roller is that it efficiently prevents dirt from clustering on the base of the ski, thereby making this structure great for long distance racing. The recommended temperature range for this roller is C. The humidity of air should however be more than 85%. This structure has shown great results on all the skiing continents of the world!

MÅTTU This roller is designed for very coarse, wet snow and for the snow cannon produced coarse, artificial snow. Due to its concave shape the structure is produced differently in different parts of the ski and hence it shapes the ski base to allow for improved gliding abilities on coarse and wet snow.
