1 INSTALLATION AND SETUP HANDBOOK OF PAYU LATAM s PLUGIN FOR OSCOMMERCE Oscommerce is a platform developed in PHP that facilitates the creation of an online store. You must install the plugin for Oscommerce, which integrates PayU Latam as a valid payment gateway, in order to enable your clients to pay through PayU from your site in Oscommerce. Requisites Have an active PayU Latam account. Have Oscommerce version 2.3 installed. Installing PayU Latam s plug- in Oscommerce: 1. Download PayU Latam s plugin for Oscommerce, which you will find in this section. 2. You will download a.zip file named oscommerce-payu-latam-1.0.zip. 3. Using FTP or logging in as administrator to the server where your Oscommerce site is installed manually locate the plugin files as follows: In the path /servidor/apache/rutapublicacion/oscommerce/catalog should be the 'confirmation_payu.php' and 'response_payu.php'. files. These files are in the downloaded.zip in the path C:\usuario\Descargas\oscommerce-payu-latam-1.0\catalog: In the path /servidor/apache/rutapublicacion/oscommerce/catalog/includes/languages/english/modules/ payment

2 the 'payu_latam.php' file must be. This file is in the.zip downloaded in the path C:\usuario\Descargas\oscommerce-payu-latam- 1.0\catalog\includes\languages\english\modules\payment: This should be done with the Spanish and Portuguese languages if you installed them on your Oscommerce site. These files are in the.zip downloaded in the path C:\usuario\Descargas\oscommerce-payu-latam-1.0\catalog\includes\languages\(Spanish/ portuguese))\modules\payment. NOTE: PayU Latam s plugin for Oscommerce is only available for English, Portuguese and Spanish languages. In the path /servidor/apache/rutapublicacion/oscommerce /catalog/includes/modules/payment there must be the payu_latam.php file. This file is in the.zip downloaded in the path C:\usuario\Descargas\oscommerce-payu-latam-1.0\catalog\ includes\modules\payment: 4. While in Oscommerce administrator desk, access the Modules menu and click Payment.

4 5. Then click the Install Module button and choose the PayU Latam module. On the right side, information about the plugin appears; click the button Install Module.

5 6. After installing the module, the list of the installed modules appears, with the selected PayU Latam module.

6 Setup of PayU Latam s Payment Gateway in Oscommerce: 1. Click the Edit button on the right side of the page. 2. You will able to see the configuration form.

Configure your PayU Latam account details as follows: Field Enable/Disable Merchant ID Account ID API key Gateway s URL Transaction Mode Response page Confirmation page Value Select the 'True' option to indicate that you enable the Oscommerce payment gateway. Shop s PayU Latam ID. Account ID by country. This is provided by PayU Latam and is unique for the shop. URL of PayU Latam. To test you can use the URL and for production If you want to make transactions in test mode, select the Test option, otherwise select Live. URL of the response page. By default the folder/catalog/response_payu.php URL appears, in which you must replace by the one corresponding to your site. Leave the rest of the URL as is if you want to use the response page that comes built into PayU Latam s plugin for Oscommerce. URL of the response page. 8 4. Save the changes at the end.

9 5. Make sure that orders statuses were created for the languages (English, Spanish and Portuguese) you have installed on Oscommerce 6. The statuses that should exist are: For Spanish, Aprobada, Rechazada, Fallida y Pendiente. For English, 'Approved', 'Rejected', 'Failed' and 'Pending'. For Portuguese: Aprovado, Recusada, Falha y Pendente. If you have not installed one or two of the languages listed above when installing the plugin, the statuses will not be created, but if you later install any statuses, you can create them manually, but these must be called exactly as indicated above. Now your customers can pay through PayU Latam when checking out in the Oscommerce shopping cart.

11 Oscommerce will redirect the client to PayU Latam s payment gateway.
