Sometimes it s enough just to change the point of view and almost immediately be welcomed by wonderful moments that were previously hidden. The new ŠKODA Octavia is designed to create everyday amazement for those driving it. The car is a confident leap into the future, proven by its host of impressive features and equipment plus a range of thoughtful features large and small that we call Simply Clever solutions. Its generous space is comfortable for everything and everyone. Its dynamic new design is both elegant and modern at once. It s also the most ecological Octavia ever, being over 100 kilos lighter than before. It s powered by many invisible technologies and assistant systems that keep every journey safe, smooth and entertaining. It s a car built to amaze you day after day, drive after drive. The new ŠKODA design language is simple, precise and crystalline, lending the car harmonic proportions, high functionality and timeliness. The front is dominated by the front grille with a chrome frame, which presents the new ŠKODA logo. The rear lights with the traditional C-shaped illumination will catch your eye.

3 Simply Clever solutions that make life a lot easier. The multimedia bracket in the centre console is not only a practical accessory but a safe place for holding your ipod, mobile phone, etc. Black fog lamps with the Corner Function can be utilised as a very effective turning light that can reveal otherwise barely visible obstacles, including kerbs. The ice scraper mounted on the fuel cap is easily within reach when you need it. Owners of cars with diesel engines will welcome the protection against refuelling with improper fuel. The spacious compartments in the front doors have a holder for a 1.5-litre bottle. You can also insert a removable waste basket that will help you keep the interior tidy. The MDI (Mobile Device Interface) has a connector located on the centre console that enables you to connect external equipment and control it with the buttons on the radio, navigation system or the multifunctional steering wheel. For easier loading of large objects, such as children s bikes, you can put the luggage compartment cover in the retracted position. After unloading the cargo, simply return it to its original position. Cargo elements prevent the unwanted movement of luggage while driving. These are two plastic parts with Velcro, which when not in use are stored in the wall compartments behind the rear wheel arches. The double foldable hook is a useful accessory on which you can hang full shopping bags.

4 The new Octavia will provide its passengers with exceptional space even when the car is fully occupied. Up to three passengers can travel comfortably in the back. Naturally, there are Isofix and Top Tether attachments for securing child safety seats on the rear side seats. Unrivalled space for everything and everyone. For a feeling of freedom and even more space, enjoy the panoramic sunroof, which has tinted glass that blocks the transmission of light and heat. The sunroof can be either folded up or slid backwards creating an open space above the front seats. Parking systems will provide you with comfort and guidance when parking. For example, the Automatic Parking Assistant needs room that is only 60 cm longer than the car when parallel parking (the photo displays the function on the Amundsen+ navigation display). The new Octavia comes with advanced driver assistance systems: Crew Protect Assistant, Driver Activity Assistant, Adaptive Cruise Assistant, Front Assistant, Lane Assistant, Intelligent Light Assistant, and Recognition and Display of Traffic Signs (the photo on the left shows the Adaptive Cruise Assistant and its functions on the Maxi DOT display). The interior of the car provides the driver and passenger with plenty of legroom and headroom. Front seat comfort is enhanced by adjustable armrests.
