2 Scope of the Broadband Network for Eastern Poland (SSPW)project: 5 regional core and distribution networks in Eastern Poland, i.e. on the territory of Lubelskie, Podkarpackie, Podlaskie, Świętokrzyskie and Warmińsko- Mazurskie voivodeships objective of SSPW projects: increased access to broadband Internet in Eastern Poland, in particular to the NGA network (30 Mb/s) total budget of the five projects approx. PLN 1.5 billion, including a contribution from ERDF amounting to over PLN 1 billion (approx. EUR 300 million) construction of over 10,000 km of fibre-optic network construction of over 1,000 core and distribution nodes technological neutrality, as well as open and equal access for all operators training for nearly 8,000 persons at risk of digital exclusion

6 Project implementation status: All contracts with Beneficiaries have been concluded by the IB for OP DEP (PAED). All contracts with the Contractor responsible for passive infrastructure / DBO Partner and the Contract Engineer have been concluded. The implementation of the investment process and the selection of infrastructure operators has been initiated. Training for population at risk of digital exclusion and promotional activities have been launched. Investment is to be finalized in October 2015
