3 3 easy steps to select a Sentron Panelboard S1, S2 and SE and Lighting Panelboards: Step 1 Determine voltage, system, amperage and interrupting rating of branch devices, and modifications if any. example for standard lighting panelboard mperage 250 Voltage 208Y/1120 System 34W Main Main Lug ranches 10K IR, 42-20/1 Modifications None Feed Location Top Mounting Surface Step 2 Open flap and create catalog number by following Panelboard oding System. The L branch breakers were selected from the ranch reaker Selection table on page S142ML250TS 42-20/1 L Step 3 Select enclosure size by the number of circuits as shown in the Panelboard Dimensional chart on page S142ML250TS L ox size 44 high unique feature of the S1/S2/SE panels is that they can accommodate either feed-thru lugs or one sub-feed circuit breaker (up to 600) without any addition in box height. For our example changing the branch circuits to 39-20/1 and 1-125/3, we have the following: 1-S142ML250TS 39-20/1 L 1-125/3 QJ2 ox size 44 high The QJ2 subfeed was selected from the table of Subfeed reakers on page 10. The box height remains the same. S4, S5, F1 and F2 Power Panelboards: Step 1 Same as step 1 above Step 2 The branch breaker frames in addition to the mounting height requirements were chosen from the ranch reaker Selection table on page 22. (Frame) (Mounting Height) 6-125/3 QJ2 5 = /3 QJ2 5 = /3 FXD6 5 = 5 25 Unit Space required Step 3 ased on required ranch Unit Space see ref. Enclosure Data on page 23 to determine Enclosure Height. 400 MLO; 25 Unit Space Enclosure Height = 60 Then complete atalog Number: S460ML400TS Open flap for How to build a catalog number

7 Sentron Panelboard Family The Sentron Panelboard family has been enhanced and extended with the addition of the SE model. The full line is now filled with logical, convenient and practical features designed to fill almost every application need. You ll find many special features that make installation easier and faster to expand the versatility of a particular product category. Field reconfiguration, for example, is a feature we ve made an important aspect of our new product line. Equally important, is the ability of our product line to accept a wide range of circuit breaker and fuse types. To match your application need to our product, take a look at the chart below which clearly demonstrates feature-to-product. What the chart cannot show however, is the built-in quality that is an integral part of the Siemens name. 40 The Siemens dvantage: State-Of-The-rt Tools and Local Support SPE (Siemens Proposal utomation alculation & Entry) In addition to automating the pricing process for most Siemens products, this user-friendly P-based program generates complete bills of material and can produce high quality layout drawings for submittal purposes. Electronic order entry into the Siemens OMNIS network is also a feature of this program. EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Siemens fully supports electronic commerce initiatives with distributors. The current system supports NED-approved and EDI-Pro certified transactions sets for incoming PO s (#850), invoices (#810), and order acknowledgements (#997 & #855). dditional transaction sets scheduled for late 1996 will add VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) capabilities for interested Siemens distributors. Distributor Marketing Programs Underscoring Siemens commitment to and support of Distribution are the ROI and GEMS programs. These programs offer Siemens distributors a wide array of incentives and tools from which to choose in building a business plan with Siemens. Innovative new tools such as the PromoPX promotion planning software provide critical assistance in raising the professionalism of marketing efforts by distributors. Industry Standard (UP) ar-oding ll Siemens standard products are routinely bar-coded to assist in receiving identification and warehouse automation. nswer-pro and KRIS Electronic atalog vailability Siemens is an active contributor to the new generation of D-ROM based electronic catalog services from NED (nswer-pro) and from HTD (KRIS). ll standard distribution equipment and controls are included in these new tools. omprehensive Training Tools The widely acclaimed STEP2000 training program series is available free of charge to all Siemens distributors. This selfpaced program currently offers 10 training modules on topics ranging from the asics of Electricity to the asics of PL s. The STEP2000 modules are supplemented by local training programs conducted by Siemens sales engineers, as well as comprehensive factory-based programs for advanced training. Local Support The focal point of Siemens support for Distribution is the local Sales Engineer. This individual is highly motivated to assist Siemens Distributors in growing their Siemens business, and should be the first point of contact in all communications. national network of field service engineers and factory experts also stands ready to provide the 24-hour per day specialized assistance that some customers require. 36
