For MHUSA, this is a great opportunity to capture images it can use in marketing and public relations materials to promote its brand. However, finding photographers in multiple regions was often difficult. In addition, many MHUSA groups were unfamiliar with the processes associated with a shoot, including determining the right shot list, setting turnaround expectations and understanding the ins and outs of licensing rights. Organizing and sharing images was also a challenge. Images were stored on CDs in either the respective local office or MHUSA s New York headquarters. When images were needed, offices often had to ship CDs to other offices, which was both expensive and inefficient. Furthermore, without metadata attached to the files, finding the appropriate image on the CDs could take hours.

This solution proved invaluable for MHUSA at New York Fashion Week a signature event for the Moët & Chandon brand. Orchard arranged for multiple photographers to cover more than 12 Moët events in Bryant Park and other New York City locations. After the event, the production staff at Getty Images quickly posted all the images to Media Manager for access in every office. Currently, MHUSA has over 5,000 images in its Media Manager library. The company plans to extend the use of Orchard and Media Manager to additional brands in its portfolio. Getty Images is the only provider who can offer MHUSA with one-stop, end-to-end service.
