2 Liiga Thank you for choosing the DNA Welho TV service Riding Giants If you are a terrestrial-network or a cablenetwork customer, this is how to activate the DNA Welho TV card and the channels to which you have subscribed To view the pay TV services, you will need: A television set with an integrated DVB receiver and a card reader A television set with a separate DVB receiver To view HD channels or standard definition channels on the VHF network, you will need: If you have a cable subscription, a Cable Ready HD approved DVB receiver or a television set with a CI+ card reader. If you have an terrestrial-network subscription, an Antenna Ready HD approved DVB receiver or a television set with a CI+ card reader and a VHF antenna directed at DNA s transmitter (see step 4)

3 1. Insert the TV card with the chip facing forward into the DVB receiver s card slot insert the TV card into the card reader and the reader into the television set. 2. If necessary, perform a channel search and link the TV card with the DVB receiver and the card reader. See page 3 for linking instructions. If you have purchased a DNA Welho Viihde service package, which includes a DVB receiver, the TV card and the DVB receiver are already linked. 3. Tune to any of the pay TV channels to which you subscribe and check if it has reception. If your television screen displays the message ei valtuuksia ( no authorization ) or ei käyttöoikeuksia ( no user rights ) for any channel, keep the device switched on until your authorization has been updated. The update should be complete by the end of the same day. Keep the linked device switched on until the pay TV channels to which you subscribe are available for viewing. Note! You can view other channels during the authorization update. 4. For customers with a terrestrial-network subscription: If you want to view HD channels or standard definition channels on the VHF network, ensure that your antenna system operates correctly by checking that you can watch Yle HD on channel 22. If the Yle HD channel is unavailable for viewing, check if there is a VHF antenna on the roof directed at DNA s transmitter. 4 This is how to activate channels in a Mix channel package The DNA Welho Mix channel package allows you to select your favourite channels and, if necessary, change them every month. To be able to customise your own package, you will need a TV card and an ID for the Minun palveluni service, in addition to a subscription in effect for the Mix channel package. DO THE FOLLOWING TO SELECT YOUR CHANNELS: 1. Log in to the DNA self-service channel, Minun palveluni, at This service will provide detailed log-in instructions. 2. Choose TV-palvelut ( TV Services ), then your Mix channel package. You will see your current Mix channels and replace them by choosing Vaihda kanavat ( Replace channels ). 3. Ensure that the TV card is inserted either in the DVB receiver or the card reader of the television set. Turn on the the DVB receiver and television set and keep them turned on until you can see picture on the pay TV channels. While pay TV channels are typically activated for viewing within minutes, some devices may require up to 24 hours. 4. You can replace your Mix channel package once in a calendar month.

5 Iron Man 3 Instructions for linkage The reception of HD channels requires that the TV card is linked with a DVB receiver or a card reader. REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: terrestrial-network customers need an Antenna Ready HD DVB receiver cable-network customers need a Cable Ready HD DVB receiver CI+ card reader DO THE FOLLOWING: Write down the linkage number. It is printed on the serial number sticker label under the names of Chip-ID, Chipset ID or CAM ID. Write also down the TV card s number, found on the back of the card. Contact DNA Customer Service at +358 (0) Mon-Fri 8 a.m.-6 p.m., Sat 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Please note that the TV card must be inserted into the device to be linked within 14 days of linkage. Keep the linked device switched on until the pay TV channels you have ordered are available for viewing. This will ensure successful linkage and make the channels available to you.
