1 2016 Scholarship Application The USA High School Clay Target League and its state affiliates are offering scholarships to student athletes that are participating in the spring season of the current year. View the state website for scholarship awards. The objectives of the USA High School Clay Target League s Scholarship Program are to provide financial assistance for a student that is continuing his/her education after high school and to reward student athletes seeking a career in environmental sciences or conservation industries. Eligibility The applicant qualifies only for the scholarship offered in the respective state they participate in and must meet the following criteria (please check boxes): Be a member of a team participating in the current spring season of a state high school clay target league in the USA High School Clay Target League, AND Be a high school senior graduating in the current school year, AND Demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in the field of environmental sciences and/or conservation of our natural resources, AND Adhere to all school district rules, policies and requirements concerning student activities including, but not limited to, attendance, conduct, scholastic standing and other eligibility requirements, AND All documentation must be submitted or postmarked no later than May 15, Applicant Scholarship Awards MN: $2,000 (3) KS, ND, WI: $1,000 each IL, KY, MI, NM, NY, OR, PA, SD: $500 each Submitting Application This application and a copy of the applicant s high school transcript must both be submitted before the deadline via or mail. to: scholarship@usaclaytarget.com Mail to: USA High School Clay Target League 5798 Blackshire Path, Suite B, Inver Grove Heights, MN Award Selection The winner is chosen from all applications based on his/her future education goals, academic accomplishments, and contributions to their team without regard to family financial circumstances, college choice, gender, race, ethnic origin or religious preferences. An independent scholarship committee selected by the USA High School Clay Target League selects the winning application. Only qualifying applications will be considered. Any state without a qualified application will withdraw scholarship. Spelling and grammar are important factors when considering applications.
