Members are not permitted to allow another individual to show their dog on their behalf if they are not able to attend the class. Members must be aged 6-24 years (for members 6 years and up to, but not including 25th birthday). Please note that membership of the YKC terminates on a member s 25th birthday. Please note that the YKC office will only accept wins from classes that are listed on the YKC website. Please note that in order to enter any YKC Crufts qualifying competition you must be a fully paid up member at the time of entry. If you enter a Crufts qualifier and you have not previously paid your membership fee then any award will not count towards qualification for Crufts. Therefore it is important to renew and maintain YKC membership as current if you wish to participate in qualifying Crufts competitions. Crufts 2017 Qualification Procedure: The first placed member only in each dog group at the qualifying show will qualify for Crufts. A rosette and prize money is awarded. If the first placed member has already qualified, the Crufts qualification will roll down to the next member (down to 3rd place only). The erection of tents or gazebos within the precincts of the show is strictly prohibited at all times. Changes to entries can only be made in writing tothesecretaryandmustbesentonor before entries close. 9
