1 ANTALYA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (ACCI) Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry was formed under the name of Commission of Agriculture and Commerce on April 2, 1882 and among the oldest chambers of commerce and industry in Turkey. Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry has active members as of the date April ACCI has agencies in 6 districts of Antalya, namely Serik, Kemer, Akseki, Korkuteli, Elmalı, Gazipaşa. There are 53 different groups of professions in ACCI. In addition, the Profession Committees form the authoritative branch called Chamber Assembly. Each group of profession elects members depending upon the number of the group, for the Chamber Assembly consisting of 131 members. The Chamber Assembly elects its Executive Board, which is the executive branch and is composed of 11 members. With the same election method, the Executive Board nominates their President, Vice-Presidents and the Treasurer. The Assembly and the Executive Board members are elected for a period of four years. The legal representative of the Chamber is the President of the Executive Board. As of April 2011, there are foreign owned companies registered in ATSO.

This principle is a totally accepted policy for the Chamber. Antalya, which is located on the Mediterranean coast of southwestern Turkey, is one of the leading provinces of Turkey in terms of social, cultural, and economic development and this trend is still rising. In terms of socio-economic development level, Antalya ranks among top 10 cities in Turkey. 6 TOURISM Antalya area is a natural heaven for tourism with a total of 640 km coastline and has about touristic bed capacity with 800 touristic establishments. In tourism, the amount of total investments has surpassed 25 billion USD. In million tourists arrived to Antalya. 7 ANTALYA ORGANIZED INDUSTRIAL ZONE Antalya Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ) has been operating since The number of active firms is 145. These companies provide employment to people. Antalya Free Zone was opened in 1987 and has been active since that date. The zone can compete with fully-developed free zones with its completed substructure that are electricity, water, telecommunication and waste water treatment facilities, roads and green areas. Also, in 1998 a port entered into service for the loading-unloading services in the Free Zone, which constitutes an extra advantage for the Zone. 8 ANTALYA EXPO CENTRE (AEC-ANFAŞ): Antalya Expo Centre (AEC) is has been established in 1999 with the partnership of the government and the private sector. Headquarter has been built on total of square meters. The exhibition centre itself built on square meters and it has been equipped with all kinds of technical equipments and facilities. Every year hotel equipments and food products fairs are organized by AEC and also several fairs are organized by other private companies like GROWTECH, YAPEX, AUTOSHOW, FRESHANTALYA etc. ANTALYA TECHNOPOLIS Antalya Technopolis was established in 2002 as a company with the cooperation and partnership of Akdeniz University, local businesses and local NGO s. The main goal of this technology complex is to foster the development of technology and innovation in Antalya region. As of October 2009, there are 40 companies active in Technopolis from fields such as IT, software development, biotechnology, electronics, agriculture and chemical technologies. TRANSPORT FACILITIES ANTALYA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT In three different terminals, two international and one domestic, the airport serves around 18 million passengers every year. It is the second busiest airport of Turkey after Istanbul Ataturk Airport. PORT OF ANTALYA There are two ports in Antalya. The Old Port was founded by Genoese and still in use as Yacht Port. Antalya Port was privatized in 1998 and is currently operated by Çelebi Investment Consultancy and Enterprises Corp., Global Infrastructure Services and Enterprises Corp. and Antmarin Construction and Tourism Corp.
