1 Packaging Cylinders for Every Application Air Liquide provides a wide variety of cylinders selected to meet specific customer needs. In that we produce many gases with widely varying chemical characteristics, appropriate package offerings must be based on several key criteria. Safety The safety of each and every customer, as well as that of those who handle or transport our products, is of the utmost importance. Selection of the correct container and the proper valve is determined by guidelines from CGA, and TC, as well as our own extensive experience and expertise. Stability Since specialty gases can be corrosive or reactive in nature, we carefully match cylinder and valve types in order to protect the integrity of the gas. To ensure gas mixture stability, reactive gases are only provided in cylinders treated with our exclusive suite of ACULIFE cylinder inerting processes see page 84 for more information. Customer Convenience For most gases, the choice of container depends upon your application requirements. We offer many different cylinders, as well as multi-cylinder packs, tube trailers or even cryogenic liquid containers for atmospheric and helium pure gases.

While most of our cylinders remain the property of Air Liquide, we also fill customer owned cylinders provided they meet all appropriate safety requirements.
