1 REACH Statement The European Union s REACH Directive ( 1907/2006) is designed to regulate the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemical Substances. REACH legislation was finalized in December 2006 and has been in effect since June In an effort to address the requirements of the REACH regulation and ensure a reliable ongoing supply of NorComp parts, NorComp has contacted suppliers to confirm all necessary registration of in scope substances in formulations, preparations, materials or articles be completed by the REACH deadlines. In addition, suppliers have been requested to assess the potential presence of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC). The 169 SVHC substances listed here are not intentionally added or used in the manufacture of NorComp products as of June 20, As NorComp does not intentionally add SVHC and based on the article criteria in the REACH regulation, all articles manufactured by NorComp are interpreted to be exempt from substance regulation and therefore compliant with the REACH regulation. Please refer to the NorComp Material Declaration forms found on the NorComp website for REACH and RoHS material compositions. If you have questions regarding NorComp s REACH position, please contact NorComp s Environmental Compliance Group via the following address: [email protected] See Chart on Pages Statement.pdf Page 1
