Ecofriendly ground reinforcement system
We care for the environment, we care for your well-being, we care for the natural beauty surrounding us.
geosystem is a modern, ecologic ground reinforcement system, also known as porous, cellular paving grid, grass grid. It is an excellent alternative to heavy (physically and aesthetically) concrete pavement slabs, concrete openwork plates, sett, asphalt, and other types of hardened surfaces. These permeable pavers are manufactured in Poland from 100% recycled HDPE. geosystem is designed for maximum load transfer and support up to 350 t/m 2. Grids are connected by means of self-locking catches. Assembly of system elements is fast and easy. After sowing grass or using a gravel filler, the grid becomes practically invisible. Thanks to this, designers and investors can fully exploit the aesthetic qualities of a natural surface and design spaces with changing colors or textures. A surface such as this simultaneously exhibits large resistance to mechanical damage such as: wearing, treading. This product is a compromise reconciling requirements of strength, permeable surface and the pursuit of maintaining a natural look of the managed surface. It performs perfectly on vast green terrain, access roads, car parks, slopes, and sidewalks.
Overflow grass car parks Slope reinforcement Home draining system Gravel and grass parking
Advantages of increases surface load capacity under any atmospheric conditions strength of the grids alone ranges from 100 to 350 tons/ m 2, additional load is carried by the filling counteracts the making of ruts and soil compaction strengthens grass root layer, increasing the resilience and durability of the turf increases biologically active surface ensures an undisturbed water circulation in the ground serves as anti-flooding protection vegetation coverage of surface near 100% porous construction of the grid makes it possible for lawns to be irrigated and fertilized without difficulty fast and easy assembly (about 100 m 2 / person- per hour) resistant to UV radiation and extreme temperatures made from 100% recycled materials and is fully processable porous grid ensures natural water circulation - precipitation penetrates to the soil and does not need to be led off to sewage

Executing a surface Surface stability and loading resistance is guaranteed by a suitably executed substructure. The type of substructure should be specified in the construction design. Correct leveling and compaction of the base course and leveling layer ensures that the grids will not be damaged under the wheels of vehicles and that ruts will not form. The thickness of sub-base is dependant on the existing ground conditions and the design load specifications. For less permeable soils (e.g. clay), a substructure that is about 20 cm deeper is recommended. Light vehicle access cm Heavy traffic truck parks Emergency service access routes cm cm BEDDING LAYER grassed surface : about 5-7 cm thick, mixture of sand and compost soil 40:60 gravel surface: about 3-5 cm thick, mixture of sand and grit with size of 5-20 mm SUB-BASE LAYER 20 cm - 55 cm thickness, gravel or breakstone mixture with piece size of mm NATURAL GROUND surface with declination of about 1-1,5% grassed surface mixture with the following proportions: - sand 50% - compost soil 20% - garden soil 30% gravel surface filling with 5-20 mm clean, angular aggregate The amount of mixture / aggregate for filling can be calculated using the following formula: 0,96 x surface area x grid height
Practical guidelines laying grids should be started by leading out the corner, the catches of the first grid determine the direction of arrangement of the next grids grids can be easily sawed using a circular saw, chainsaw, or blade, it is recommended to mix the upper soil layer with sand, sow seeds 1 cm below the grid wall, and cover them with a layer of compost or peat of a thickness of 1 cm when placing the lawn, after filling the openings with earth or a mixture of compost earth and pearlstone or grabel, it should be watered in order to cause settling of the base to a level of about 1 cm atmospheric conditions, it should be carried out in 2-3 day intervals- The surface should not be exploited until the grass has completely taken root (about 4-12 weeks), and long vehicle parking should be avoided. Later care of the surface is the same as for an ordinary lawn mowing, watering, fertilizing for gravel surfaces, in order to avoid weeds growing, agrofabric can be applied between the leveling layer and the grid when placing grids on inclined terrain or slopes, they should be fixed using fastening anchors we suggest using a mixture of grass for actively exploited turf, resistant to trampling and mechanical damage, resistant to drought, possessing a developed root system After sowing, the appropriate moistening of the ground should be maintained Sprinkling is to be carried out more often, delicately, but not profusely, in order to maintain constant moistness. Sprinkling should be carried out with fine droplets (misting), and under normal

Assembly Set out the shape of the surface using stakes and line. Remove soil until the appropriate depth is reached, depending on the character of the planned surface Level and mechanically compact the base (using a tamper or surface vibrator) Fill the unearthed part with base course up to the appropriate height, then level and compact it. Pour sand and distribute it evenly over the base course. For a grid filled with grass, a mixture of sifted compost with sand and pearlstone is recommended as the base (for better grass ingrowth). Grids should be placed in rows and connected with catches using a rubber hammer. Lightly level the base using a compacting machine Grids should be filled as deemed appropriate.

Grass - a living surface A lively, green, growing, well-kept lawn is a natural decoration that has a positive influence on the way we feel, and also serves to create a mood or atmosphere. City greenery, including lawns, affects: - air temperature lowers minimum temperature - humidity stores large amounts of water, - dampens noise a grassy surface decreases noise by 6-8 db in comparison to surfaces without vegeration - influences wind conditions differences in the heat balance cause local circulation between green and building areas - purifies the air of gaseous impurities air flow over a strip of greenery of a width of 500 m causes a threefold decrease in the concentration of SO 2, H 2 S, and nitrogen oxides by 75% - purifies the air of particle impurities lawns play the role of air filters: they counteract secondary dusting of the ground In designing a living surface with geosystem, the appropriate species of grass should be used. The seeds sowed should be mixtures of several species and varieties of grass. This gives the plants greater capabilities for adaptation to various environmental conditions as well as conditions of exploitation. The seed mixture should be adapted to the character of the surface. Road, decorative, recreational, or slope lawns will have varying mixture compositions and methods for care. More information on how to place a lawn and care for it can be found on our website
Construction of a parking, Motoarena in Torun. Overflow grass parks on an area of 14 thousand sq. m., used geosystem S60
What are the benefits? green car parks are aesthetic and positively affect how we feel reduce your site s impervious surface increase green surface area reduce stormwater runoff and store stormwater on-site fast and easy, do-it-yourself installation elasticity - the material our products are made from is elastic and extensible, it can be bent, and the grid will not break weight - our product is heavier than other products available on the market. the reason for this: more material, thicker walls, thanks to which the grid is stronger and carries higher loads the black color is invisible in soil a green grid always has a different shade of color from the natural color of grass geosystem has the European Technical Approval
