1 Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) Tests Rate Card Part I: Proposal Background Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) Listening & Reading The TOEIC Listening & Reading test is a paper-and-pencil, multiplechoice assessment that uses audiocassettes, pictures, and written materials to evaluate English language skills. There are two separately-timed sections of 100 questions each. Section I: Listening Test The examinees will listen to a variety of questions and short conversations recorded in English, then answer questions based on what they heard. Section II: Reading Test The examinees will read a variety of materials and respond at their own pace to questions based on the content. Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) Speaking & Writing The TOEIC Speaking & Writing test is an online computer-based test. The tests can be taken individually or separately. The two separately-timed sections of the test have the following formats: Section I: Speaking Test The 20 minutes test will require the examinees to respond 11 questions from either spoken and/or written prompts. Section II: Writing Test The 1 hour test will require the examinees to respond to 8 written prompt questions. Objective General Proposed Objectives of the TOEIC Tests Organizations use the TOEIC tests to document progress in English training programs, recruit and promote employees, and put standard measurements in place across departments, job functions and locations. The proposed TOEIC L&R test may have the following objectives: To understand the process of the TOEIC L&R test To incorporate TOEIC L&R test as part of the recruitment, staff training, career improvement and appraisal process For the TOEIC S&W test, we recommend that the test be conducted after the results from the TOEIC L&R test are received. Upon request, a separate proposal will be submitted after the completion of the TOEIC L&R test.

4 Part VI: Administrative Fee (The Administrative Fee is applicable if the test is administered exclusively for the client.) Client to also pay for airfare if the test is conducted in Penang Island and/or Langkawi Island 3. Client to also pay for test venue rental, if applicable 4. This fee is not applicable if the candidate(s) take the test during the Penang Walk-In Test Session 1. Client to also pay for airfare, ground transportation and hotel accommodation 2. Client to also pay for test venue rental, if applicable Part VII: Professional Sound / PA System (Optional) The test venue must have a reliable sound system complete with CD Player and Microphone. 5 Part VII: Terms and Policies Test Session Test date, time and venue to be requested by the Client and subject to confirmation by both parties No minimum number of examinee is required for TOEIC Listening & Reading Test and the TOEIC Online Learning Practice Course The maximum number of examinee for TOEIC Listening & Reading Test is based on space availability at each test site The maximum number of examinee for TOEIC Speaking & Writing Test at Test Center Malaysia is five (5) test takers per test session The Client to confirm with Eshia minimum of two (2) weeks prior to the test session Eshia to provide all test materials, including test books, score sheet, pencils and erasers for each test session for the TOEIC Listening & Reading Test Eshia to provide all test materials and headsets for each test session for the TOEIC Speaking & Writing Test Eshia to provide Test Proctor per test session and according to ETS guidelines At-Site Test Facility All charges related to at-site test(s), ie. Test Room rental, AV rental, computer rental, and other related charges will be paid by The Client. The venue and/or test room facilities must be in accordance to ETS guidelines Payment Terms Full payment, inclusive of PA System Rental and Test Room / Venue Rental if any, before the start of the test. Payment by cheques are to made payable to Eshia & Associates Sdn Bhd No Show Policy Examinees who cancel the test reservation three (3) days before the scheduled test date will not be charged. Examinees who fail to cancel a reservation for a test within two (2) working days or less of the scheduled test date will be charged RM50.00 processing fee in addition to their regular test fee the next time they come in for the test Cancellation must be done in writing via or facsimile

6 Result Others For TOEIC Listening & Reading Test: Results will be made available after seven (7) working days of the test administration. Rush scoring is available for an additional fee For TOEIC Speaking & Writing Test: Results will be made available after ten (10) working days of the test administration. No rush scoring is provided for this test Institutional Test Program Score Reporting Procedure In accordance to Test Score Reporting Procedure established by ETS, the score report issued under this program shall: o Be used only within the applicable Client o Will not be made available publicly by Eshia o All test results for organization-sponsored tests will be sent directly to the test coordinator designated by the organization o Eshia does not release individual scores to individual examinees from organizations o Organizations will receive the information in an electronic format.
