2 About JD Services HVAC Ltd JD Services (JDS) was established in 1999 as specialists in the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of air conditioning and electrical services. With rapid success in this market sector in 2001 we have expanded our services to include heating systems as an additional area of expertise. We are also able to offer solutions for the maintenance of all your building services needs, including specialist disciplines such as renewable energies, water hygiene, lifts, fire detection and BMS, and soft services such as plumbing and building fabric maintenance. Whether you require support from our team of mobile engineers or static site engineers, we pride ourselves in providing our clients with an integrated, cost-effective solution to maintaining and servicing mechanical and electrical systems in a wide range of commercial, industrial, educational, retail and local government properties throughout London and the home counties. At JDS we appreciate that every building and every client has different needs and this is why we take a proactive approach to each contract in order to present our clients with a tailored solution to meet their requirements exactly. Once our clients have a contract in place with us we believe that it is essential for good lines of communication to be developed. We therefore ensure that clients are kept in regular contact with our administration staff who relay up-to-date information on current maintenance, service calls and project works. In addition to regular telephone contact, we also arrange a series of formal meetings that take place with one of our account managers.

3 Air-conditioning and Ventilation Service and Maintenance Each of our specialist engineers has Refrigerant Safe Handling certification and is qualified to a minimum of City and Guilds standard. They carry out planned preventative maintenance on all air conditioning and ventilation equipment ranging from small split installations in offices through to large close control systems in computer rooms and other technical areas. All of our maintenance contracts include access to our 24 hour, 365 day per year emergency service call out facility and are tailored to meet our clients needs to ensure that equipment is kept operating reliably. Residential Engineers Where the nature or size of a building requires on-site cover, we provide a manned site alternative to mobile coverage. This may be limited to a single resident engineer on a smaller site, or might extend to a team of dedicated engineers providing cover 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In the case of larger, more complex sites, JDS can provide a comprehensive on-site management team who will fulfil the complete operational requirements, including tasks such as building fabric repairs and office moves. Air Conditioning Installations JDS offers complete turnkey installation packages including design, drawing, manufacture, installation, commissioning, and finally maintenance cover on the new installation. JDS is a member of the Heating and Ventilating Contractors Association (HVCA) and can offer equipment from all the leading manufacturers. We are able to provide systems ranging from basic comfort cooling projects through to close control installations for computer rooms, telecommunication sites or similar environments. We provide air conditioning for all sectors of the market including domestic, commercial, retail and leisure.

4 Heating JDS has a team of Gas Safe registered engineers who are able to provide high quality heating installations. We are able to provide equipment from all the leading manufacturers. Installations of all sizes and types are undertaken including atmospheric gas boilers, forced draught burners, gas fired air heaters, open vent systems and pressurised systems. We offer clients the complete range of services necessary for high quality installations, ensuring the equipment selection is correctly tailored for each and every application by offering a complete design, installation and commissioning service. Alternatively we offer installation and commissioning only services to clients who have their own consultants or design teams. Renewable Heating JDS can provide both commercial and domestic solutions for the installation of both ground source and air source heating. Service and Maintenance JDS is experienced in the repair and maintenance of all types of gas heating systems in commercial properties. We are a Gas Safe registered company and all of our engineers are multi skilled and Gas Safe qualified in gas heating maintenance and installation. We can provide tailor made proposals for preventative maintenance contracts on all types of gas and oil fired heating systems and we are equipped to provide rapid response to breakdowns or requests for attention via our 24 hour, seven day per week emergency service call out facility.

5 Electrical JDS has a team of 17th Edition qualified electrical engineers enabling us to offer our clients maintenance packages that can be tailored to include the following: Portable appliance testing One, three, or five year periodic fixed circuit electrical inspections Visual routine electrical safety inspections Lamp and tube replacements during inspections Fault finding 24 hour emergency response PV Installations Our goal is to provide our customers with efficient electrical installations, repairs and maintenance. 6 Water Hygiene In recent years the legislation surrounding issues of water hygiene has placed significant pressures on employers and owners of commercial, retail and industrial property to guarantee water quality and safety. The dangers of legionella bacteria are increasingly in the news. Businesses need to be aware that in addition to endangering life, an outbreak of the disease can lead to the criminal prosecution of the employers. Our clients utilise the specialist services of dedicated water hygiene technicians to conduct full risk assessments, and thereafter test, service and maintain this most crucial plant and equipment.

This gives them the facility to dial into the Planon system via the Web using a unique code number that provides access to information on all activities associated with their contract, including status reports on routine maintenance, emergency service breakdowns, outstanding quotations and jobs completed. With this facility in place, we are able to maintain a close link with our clients and provide high levels of customer satisfaction.
