15 Primavette blood collection systems Primavette S The safe system for single and multiple sampling with rubber membrane. Safe! No dripping after single or multiple collection. High grade rubber membrane closure ensures absolute density. Easy! Insert the Primavette with a slight turn to the right into the Sangocan - multiple sampling adapter. Insertion of the Primavette can be effected in any position! Versatile! Injection afterwards possible with an adapter. Aspiration principle for collection from patients with bad veins. Collection tube for direct connection to analysing systems, without further handling. Primavette V The variable system for single and multiple sampling with Luer cone and membrane cap. Single collection is effected with a Luer cannula or directly from Luer connections such as multiple-way taps, catheters, butterfly cannulae etc. Single collection: Remove the membrane cap from the Primavette by turning it slightly to the right and put the Primavette in a commercial Luer cannula for single collection. Multiple collection: As the membrane cap remains on the Primavette, the system is closed (no dripping after blood sampling!). 22 Primavette sepa The Primavette sepa is a primary vessel for all stages from sampling the blood through analysis to long-term storage of samples. The patented plunger system has been designed for three jobs: for a closed blood collection for a safe, reliable and hermetic seal for a stable and enduring separation During centrifugation, the separator migrates through the serum phase and floats on the blood clot. When the centrifuge comes to a stop, the tube wall and the separator guarantee long-term separation without diffusion. After centrifugation the tube is already opened. Removing of the stopper and thus the contamination risk is omitted.
