2 WHAT IS OUR BUSINESS FOCUS? Our focus is primarily U.S. excess and surplus lines ( E&S ) insurance because of the flexibility the E&S market allows and its growing importance in providing tailored solutions to customers. We also have access to admitted company paper, and when necessary and appropriate most commonly in our executive lines and program businesses we will underwrite on an admitted basis. We focus on critical catastrophe exposures and have the ability to write primary, buffer and excess limits on shared and layered programs. HOW DO WE HANDLE CLAIMS? With skill and efficiency. Our claims operation is fully up and running. Customers can report claims 24/7 via a toll free hotline or by , fax or mail. We can process claims paperlessly, including setting reserves and making payments. We have contracted with leading independent adjustment and law firms across the country, so they stand ready to support our policyholders in claims. We will handle our claims with an in-house professional and technically sophisticated staff. Our customers have direct access to our senior claims team now this will not change as we grow.
