1 TMI Products What is TMI Telebase? TMI Telebase is a suite of products that include:,,, and Cost- Rite. Together these modules provide clients with the ability to electronically consolidate, manage, and report all telecom expenses across their organization. Each module provides the following functionality: is a database that provides a client with a comprehensive view of assets (voice, data, wireless) used in their telecommunications network. is a database that contains past, present, and future telecom contract information including rate plans, rent plans, and their effective start and end dates. is the application that loads an electronic bill (e-bill) from any Canadian Telecom supplier and electronically validates the billing expenses against the asset and contract information contained in and. is the entrance to all current and historical Telecom billing expense data and provides secure Web access for end users or managers to access their billing expenses. TMI Telebase is available as either a TMI Managed service or a Client Managed service. is a database that provides client s with a comprehensive view of all assets (voice, data, wireless) used in their telecommunications network. All assets are classified and linked to an owner, a department, and location for tracking and reporting purposes. In addition each asset is assigned an installation and termination date so that clients can be certain they are only being billed for assets that are actually in service. The process for moving, adding, or changing asset information is quick, easy, and intuitive. The powerful and flexible reporting tool allows users to quickly organize key information for reporting purposes. is available as a Windows desktop application and via the Web. is a database that contains all of a client s telecommunications contracts including the contract name, supplier information, and the start and end dates of all contracts. TMI Telebase uses the contract data to validate a supplier s e- Bill to insure that the client is paying the correct rates. It performs a number of required checks while loading the e-bill, and allows client intervention to stop or proceed at critical junctures. Validation reports detailing all billing errors are available to the client as soon as the processing is complete. also assists clients in their cost allocation process by identifying the correct amount to be posted to the General Ledger, along with the associated recoverable or payable amount as a result of the billing error.
