1 Appendix IP CAMERA Network Connections (The IP-CAM supports 3 modes of network, including Static IP, dynamic IP and PPPoE. Be sure to connect your IP-CAM to the correct appropriate mode). 1. For Static IP Environment Case (A): If you have more than one fixed physical IPs provided by your ISP, you may allocate them to each IP-CAM. Please type the network configurations like IP Address, Netmask Address, Gateway Address and DNS Server as your ISP provided. Enter the IP-CAM IP address (e.g. IP>) on the browser address field of your local/remote PCs and then you are able to view the video from your browser. <Fig. 1> Case (B): If you have only 1 physical IP (either static or dynamic IP), you may connect it to your IP-CAM as below. You may assign the physical IP provided by ISP to NAT Server by connecting at WAN port. The virtual IP of NAT or DMZ will be covert the into a counter physical IP address. The network configurations like IP Address, Netmask Address, Gateway Address, DNS Server etc. can be set as example below.

Please type the network configurations like IP Address, Netmask Address, Gateway Address and DNS Server as your ISP provided. Enter the IP-CAM IP address (e.g. http://<real IP>) on the browser address field of your local/remote PCs and then you are able to view the video from your browser.

For Dynamic IP (DHCP or Cable modem) user Case (A): If your ISP provides 2 or more physical IP addresses, you may fill in network configuration as ISP offered on IP-CAM page. Thus you may login via WAN to ISP Server. In the meanwhile, ISP will notify you the Video Service IP address via Administrator Address. Local /Remote PC may be connected to the IP-CAM by typing IP> on your web page.

Case (C): If your IP-CAM connect directly to LAN (as shown on <Fig C-3>), you may get the addresses of Netmask Address, Gateway Address and DNS server by typing < ipconfig > and clicking <enter >

Case (C): If you use dynamic IP address under LAN, you may connect the IP-CAM as following figure and fill in Administrator Address, SMTP Server, and HTTP Port number, etc as shown in the webpage. The DHCP Server will send you the dynamic virtual IP address thru the address you assigned. Key in the website IP> at the local end PC, then you will link to the IP-CAM. < Fig C-5 > 3. PPPoE (ADSL dial Mode) user Case (A): If your ISP provides 2 or more physical IP addresses, you may make connection as < Fig C-6>. Please fill in the user account and other necessary information on the webpage. Then you may link and login your IP-CAM to the WAN server and the ISP will

webpage. The DHCP Server will send you the dynamic virtual IP address thru the E-mail address you assigned. Key in the website http://<real IP> at the local end PC, then you will link to the IP-CAM.
