4 4 Decisions Made at 25 th ICM 2013 MSC Malaysia Implementation Council Meeting 2013 (ICM) chaired by YAB PM has approved the following: KKMM, with MAMPU s support, to develop Malaysia s Big Data framework MAMPU and MDeC to jointly implement 4 government-initiated BDA pilot projects To kick-start BDA for Private Sector led by MDeC

MEASUREMENT OF SUCCESS MATURITY MODEL 16 Government aspiration for Malaysia in the use of BDA and how the BDA framework can assist in providing a structured way of realising the vision EXAMPLE Malaysia will be a regional leader in the use of big data analytics to enhance services, deliver new services and provide better policy advice, while incorporating best practice privacy protections and leveraging existing transformation programs. Measuring the success of the National Big Data initiative in the public and private sector (incl. yearly target) EXAMPLE Measures related to drive efficiency, collaboration and innovation in the public sector; (industry growth etc.) Development of maturity model to benchmark and measure the AS IS and TO BE stages.
