A cohort is a group of 20 to 25 students who advance through the program together and ultimately graduate together. They offer students a supportive group of like-minded students and help you build lasting personal and professional relationships great for networking! Cohorts take one course at a time, while studying year round. This cohort structure provides an embedded support system that keeps each adult student motivated toward degree completion. Classes meet the same day and time throughout the program, as professors use a proven curriculum emphasizing experiential learning that is relevant to today s workplace issues. M.A. in Contemporary Communication (Online) Graduate Studies Office: The Master of Arts in Contemporary Communication is a broad-based program for students seeking graduate education across a spectrum of communication approaches. This program is designed for those pursuing professional development in strategic communications and/or focusing on creative expression. The program allows students options to explore their personal needs, interests and goals, ranging from development of communication skills to entrepreneurial communication. A student may choose to focus on strategic communication, creative communication or a blend of the two. Students should check WebAdvisor for course offerings.
