1 SYSTEM OR SERVICE: Management Systems: Program Planning OUTCOME: Systems implemented that enhance daily programmatic functions Implement and maintain an effective system of sharing information from key management to direct service level staff. 1. Develop a schedule of meeting dates and times to include Service Area Specialists, Site Supervisors, Family Advocates and teachers. Management Staff and s Performance Standards, Job Descriptions June - 15 Approve, implement, and maintain an effective and efficient multi-layered system of ongoing monitoring that assures both compliance with Federal performance standards in regards to health, mental health and disabilities and nutrition. 1. Align Policies and Procedures with each service area of the aligned monitoring system Management Staff, and s OHS Standards of ongoing monitoring, Department of Children and Families, Department of Health, Management Ongoing Monitoring Aug-15 Develop, approve and train staff on the system used to ensure clients have a way to update their information with the agency. 1. Review/revise policies, procedures as necessary to ensure the most efficient system is being implemented 2. Seek PC/Board approval as needed 3. Utilize statewide job posting boards such as Early Learning Office of Florida, FLAEYC, and colleges 4. Recognize staff going above and beyond on a quarterly basis. 5. Celebrate staff achievements. (For example, increased CLASS/ITERS/ECERS scores) HR Manager, All senior Management staff Performance Standards Improve opportunities to dialogue across specialists in order to effectively meet current needs and preplan for needs 1. Approve, implement, and maintain an effective and efficient multi-layered system of ongoing monitoring that assures compliance with Federal performance standards in regards to follow up of needed medical services. 1. Review/Revise policies, procedures as necessary 2. Seek PC/Board approval as necessary 3. Implement new/revised policies Management Staff and s, Health Specialists HS/EHS Performance Standards, policies and procedures Develop policies and procedures to ensure that the program has strong health and safety measures in place to protect not only the children but the staff as well. 1. Implement policy program wide Management Staff Policies and procedures, training plans Aug-15 Revise policies and procedures to include specific steps in identifying, monitoring and follow-up on: 1. Provide site centered training to contracted teaching teams to ensure the understanding of school readiness goals and policies and procedures. 1. Provide training on school readiness goals 2. Provide training to all relevant staff regarding the newly updated policies and procedures 3. Provide staff with copies of the revised policies and procedures Area Specialists and s training plan June - 15 Increase the monitoring of individual child school readiness reports, documentation of individualized discussions of children s school readiness skills with families 1. Revise policies and procedures. 2. Obtain Board/PC approval 3. Implement the new/revised policies, QA training plan July - 15 Increase clarification of documentation and filing expectations in order to increase the efficiency and consistency in maintenance of the children s files. 1.
