1 Imortant Udate: Changes to Equity Cinema Agreement There will be a revised Pact/Equity Cinema Agreement with effect from 4 January 2016 until that will rovide an increase in rates 6% with a further increase 2% from Thereafter the rates will increase by 2% from 4 in each the following years u to ancluding This Agreement will not aly to films that have commenced filming before January 2016 that continue to shoot beyond that date. There will be the introduction an Otion C in addition to the current Otion A B. In addition there will be a fee aya in resect on going distribution costs the net/royalty receits to Artists that will be alied to any future nts made under the 2002 Agreement all successor Agreements. The Producer can choose to ay royalty/net to Equity or aoint their own distribution agency or ayroll comany (but will still have to account to Equity in resect nts made). Where the Producer ays royalty/net to Equity the Producer can choose between making a nt either 1% the royalty/net aya er distribution or 3,000 er film lus VAT where alica such nt will come into effect from 1 October Attached is the revised Aendix FG that will be incororateto the 2016 Agreement that will be made availa in the near future.
