Comments: Started within a couple of days of quote being accepted. Very neat and tidy. Even protected drive for skip. Date received: 8 th September 2014 Total cost of : Description of : Re-do cast iron guttering and downpipes properly, carried out previously by another firm who had not finished the job and what they had done was wrong. D Watson rectified all the problems. Comments: Wouldn t hesitate in getting D Watson Roofing back, it s good to know there are decent firms out there.

3 Date received: 26 th August 2014 Total cost of : Description of : Erect tower scaffolding, rake out joints in stone at gable, chimney head and front of garage and re-paint. Fixed railing at top front roof for myself and neighbour by taking off, power washing it and giving 2 coats of Hammerite paint before bolting it on to new timber. Comments: I should say with regard to railings this was because of an ongoing leak in front bedroom and Mr Watson was determined to get to the bottom of it and I feel he has. Mr Watson has in the past few years re-slated both back and front of my house and I now consider him to be my roofer. Comments: Throughout the whole process of the repair from our first meeting until the final invoice we were fully informed of the progress of the job. The level of manship was excellent across all aspects of the.

This involved installing a new roof on the dormer (plus insulation), replacing timber and fixing the lead watergate flashing. Comments: The standard of /finish looks excellent. As no significant rain has fallen since completion it s impossible for me to assess whether or not the leak has been fixed. Two minor points, contact by was slow, I asked how long the is guaranteed for, but have not had a reply. Secondly, this comments form did not have the correct postage and I had to pay the extra plus the handling charge. Comments: Company were very professional both in carried out and in communication from company owner, men and office staff. Would use again.

Renewal of flat roof above double garage and part of house. Comments: At all stages there was a very high level of customer service. Detail in quotations indicated that company had good level of technical expertise. Work was done when we wanted it and has a 15 year guarantee. There was a query with the verge which was attended to and resolved by Mr Watson very quickly. Work was all carried out without us having to be on site, which was very helpful. A number of our neighbours have full visibility of our house and provided very positive feedback on the behavior of the team doing the. Annual maintenance checks of broken slates, check valleys, flashings and down pipes/gutters. Comments: Denis Watson Roofing were recommended to me by the architect when I asked for a good roofer. I have an old property and needed an experienced roofer. Having carried out for National Trust and Historic Scotland, I know that Denis will do the right job and a good job for a fair price and be totally transparent with the customer. Check over roof for birds nests etc. Comments: A really good team of roofers, quiet and efficient. Have already passed on details of this company to friends and booked them for another job. Comments: Very professional and business-like approach to the job. Courteous men. Careful to protect property when roof open. Would (and do) thoroughly recommend. Description of : general repairs to main roof, cleaning gutters, new roof on extension, matching new tiles to existing, sourcing red ridge pieces to match existing pieces on main house, repointing and repairing chimneys. Comments: We have used D Watson on many occasions and have been very impressed with the thoroughness of the. Mr Watson has gone to great effort to source materials in keeping with the age or our property including a rectangular iron downpipe with a box at the top.
