1 Using the Tool Save the Children Alliance Child Protection Monitoring Tool For Use by Community Service Workers, Social Animators and Community Volunteers in a Refugee Camp This is a framework of issues for children in the camp. Use your time in the camp as you work with children and the community to listen and watch for any evidence of these issues. If you find any evidence record as much information as possible and report to the child protection monitor. The method for answering these questions is watching and listening. All these questions should be answered and reported each week. This Child Protection Monitoring Instrument was developed by Jo deberry, SCF/US Pakistan/Afghanistan Field Office 1

2 Registration Separated Children Recruitment Community Actions taken to resolve issues identified Do you hear of or observe children who have not been formally registered by UNHCR?
