5 / What is IIYP A framework supports organisations looking to recruit, retain and develop young people, and recognition for those that are already doing this. Focusses on three key elements of Youth Employment Attraction and Recruitment, Support and Development and Retention. Issues besides youth unemployment - ageing workforce, skills gaps and shortages, talent development, succession planning and Customer insight. Employing and developing young talent can be the solution. IIYP supports organisations from across the private, public and third sectors to assist them in meeting their business objectives by engaging and developing a talent pipeline for the future. 9 / Impact of IIYP Research study and evaluation report (April 2015) show: IIYP assists employers to develop knowledge of resources available to them in their recruitment and retention of young people (75% of respondees) An increase in employers commitment to recruiting young people (70%) and developing young people (75%). 80% of respondees also intimated that they were likely or highly likely to renew their accreditation at their next due date despite no funding. Employers also enjoy the fact that IIYP marks them out as an employer effective in their approach to recruiting, retaining and developing young people, with 100% respondees agreeing with this statement. NPS score of 95!!!
