She is currently pursuing a doctorate of School Psychology at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Roxane s prior experience includes crisis response and intervention for individuals with developmental, psychiatric and behavioral disabilities. She is currently the school psychologist at East Brook Middle School and Ridge Ranch Elementary School. Roxane enjoys working with parents, teachers and colleagues to develop interventions that support the academic achievement, positive behavior, and mental wellness of all students. BARBARA IRWIN, PSY.D School Psychologist ECC/Preschool [email protected] , ext Barbara Irwin has her Master s degree from Teachers College, Columbia University and her certification as School Psychologist from Montclair State University. She received her Psy.D. in School Psychology from Rutgers University. Areas of interest include preschool children, parental needs and autism. JULIANA BARBARO, MA, PD School Psychologist Paramus High School [email protected] , ext Juliana attended Fairleigh Dickinson University and received a Bachelor of Arts. She continued on to the graduate program where she received her MA and Professional Diploma in School Psychology. Juliana is bilingual in the languages of Italian and English and has many years of experience in the field of education. She is currently the School Psychologist at Paramus High School. 2 Michelle De Rosa received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Sociology from Fordham University. She then continued her studies at Kean University, receiving her MA degree in Educational Psychology and Professional Diploma in School Psychology. MELISSA MEYERS, MS, NCSP School Psychologist Paramus High School, Memorial Elementary School and Parkway School , ext Melissa Meyers received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from SUNY Albany and earned her Master s of Science in Preschool Psychology and Professional Diploma in School Psychology at Fordham University. Prior to becoming a school psychologist, Melissa worked at a private school for children with autism. She is currently the school psychologist at Paramus High School, Memorial School and Parkway School. EILEEN P. PURTILL School Psychologist West Brook Middle School [email protected] , ext Eileen received her Bachelor of Science degree from Pace University and earned her Master s of Science in Education through the School Psychology program at Long Island University. Eileen is currently studying at Seton Hall University s College of Education and Human Services. Over the course of her studies, she has developed an interest in the physical, academic and mental well being of students, working first as a Registered Nurse within the school setting and later as a School Psychologist. She has worked with various populations in both Westchester County and New York City before coming to Paramus. She is currently the School Psychologist and Chairperson of the West Brook Middle School Child Study Team. SOCIAL WORKERS JARA BEAGELMAN School Social Worker ECC/Preschool, Parkway, Midland & Ridge Ranch [email protected] , ext Jara Beagelman earned her Bachelors Degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology at Rutgers University. She then continued her education at Rutgers University with a Masters in Social Work. Jara has interned at both the private and public school sectors

3 and has closely worked with the autistic and emotionally disabled population. Jara is the School Social Worker at Parkway and Midland, as well as a member of the Preschool Child Study Team. CINDY MILLER, LCSW School Social Worker East Brook Middle School, Ridge Ranch and Memorial [email protected] , ext Cindy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her Master s degree in Social Work from Columbia University and her Bachelor of Arts from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Cindy s post-graduate work includes training in Cognitive Behavioral/Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy at the Albert Ellis Institute in NYC as well as at the NJ Institute for Training in Psychoanalysis with a specialization in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy. HEATHER RUSSO, MSW School Social Worker Paramus High School/PACE [email protected] , ext Heather Russo received her BSW degree in Social Work from Monmouth University and her MSW in Social Work from Barry University. She currently is the Social Worker for Paramus High School and Memorial Elementary School. Her areas of interest include working with adolescents with substance abuse and parental needs. Her hobbies include going to all kinds of sporting events and traveling. LINDSAY ABRAMOWITZ School Social Worker West Brook Middle School and Stony Lane Elementary School [email protected] , ext Lindsay Abramowitz earned her Bachelors Degree in Sociology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She continued her education at Columbia University where she received a Masters in Social Work. Lindsay has worked in multiple settings, with a variety of populations. She is certified in elementary education, as reading specialist, special education teacher and LDT/C. Stacy has been teaching in the Paramus School District since GINA MARIANO Learning Disabilities Teacher/Consultant Paramus High School [email protected] , ext Gina received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers University in She then went on to receive her Teacher of the Handicapped license from William Paterson University in May of 2004, at which point she began her career in education. Gina then received her Masters of Education degree LDT-C licensure in May of 2012 from William Paterson University as well. She taught Special Education at Paramus High School since 2004 and started her new position as LDT-C in September SHEREE LEVISON Learning Disabilities Teacher/Consultant Stony Lane, Memorial and Midland [email protected] , ext Sheree received her BA degree in Elementary Education from Queens College, her MS degree in Special Education from SUNY New Paltz and her LDT/C certification from Montclair State University. Sheree has been working as an LDT/C in the Paramus district since Previously, Sheree worked as a special education teacher in other area school districts. DENISE POTTER Learning Disabilities Teacher/Consultant West Brook Middle School and Parkway Elementary School [email protected] , ext Denise Potter received her BA degree in Secondary Education and MA degree in Special Education from the University of Tennessee. She holds a postgraduate certification in Elementary Education and a Learning Disabilities Teacher/Consultant certificate from Montclair State University. Denise resided and taught Special Education in the city of Chicago before being employed by the Paramus Board of Education. In Paramus, she

5 taught Special Education at Parkway Elementary School and West Brook Middle School before joining the Parkway Child Study Team in 2003 and the West Brook CST in 2005 as the Learning Disabilities Teacher/Consultant. JAMIE MORMINO Learning Disabilities Teacher/Consultant East Brook , ext Jamie Mormino received her Master s degree in Special Education/Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant from William Paterson University, as well as also received a Bachelor of Science from The Pennsylvania State University. She has taught in the public schools as a Middle School Mathematics teacher and is currently the LDT-C at East Brook. Lacie is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has previously worked in public school settings, private school settings, and home based settings. She has extensive training and experience in the use of Applied Behavior Analysis to treat feeding disorders in children with Autism. Lacie primarily works with the preschool and elementary ABA classrooms, and the behavioral disabilities classrooms in district. JUAN CASTRO, MA.,BCBA Transition Coordinator District Wide [email protected] , ext Juan graduated from Kutztown University in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, with a BS in psychology in In January 2009, Juan graduated from National University in San Diego, California, where he earned his MA in Education with a specialization in Applied Behavioral Analysis. Within the same year, Juan became a Board Certified Behavior Analysis. He has been working with children, adolescents, and adults with mental health disorders, developmental, and physical disabilities for over 10 years.
