3 Our philosophy Our philosophy. GAMADECOR was founded in 1987 to produce top quality bathroom and kitchen furniture based on concepts of advanced design and technology. Based in Villarreal (Castellón), the company s facilities, which exceed 125,000 m², are equipped with the very latest technology. We currently export to over fifty countries on all five continents and have our own showrooms in Spain, France, the UK, USA, Italy, Portugal and Germany. Ecological commitment In keeping with Gamadecor s demonstrated commitment to the environment, an Environmental Management System has been introduced by the company and certified as complying with the ISO 14001:2004 international standard. This system ensures the identification of all environmental impacts and aspects of Gamadecor s activities and improvements to its environmental performance, as well as contributing toward environmental protection and the prevention of pollution, from a balanced perspective that takes into account socioeconomic factors. At the same time, a Chain of Custody control system for wood has been introduced so as to ensure that the raw materials used to manufacture the company s products are sourced from controlled forests. Technical specifications in compliance with DIN EN 312. All structure and shelf edges are coated in a special 1,2 mm shock resistant PP finish. Joined to the edge by laser melting, creating a waterproof and invisible union. Back panel in laminate board (the same as the structure), inserted in horizontal and vertical grooves and glued. The structure pieces are assembled with hard wood dowels glued on at the same time as the back panel is inserted. This system guarantees the stability of the unit. The hinges used by Emotions are entirely made of metal, their opening bay is 95, can be regulated in three directions and they have three different positions to regulate damping force. The special anchoring system of the hinge to the carcass and the door with dowels and screws prevents the doors from sagging and the screws from coming loose with daily usage. The clip system enables the doors to be assembled and disassembled without any need for tools. The leg stands and plinth legs are made of a solid, compact material to provide greater rigidity and resistance. The fittings are mounted in such a way that the weight of the units (especially granite) is borne by both the side and base structure, which prevents the unit from sinking. The metal legs are adjustable between -15 and +25 mm. Plinthes are very thin, as low as 6cm high, it makes a visual like a kitchen suspended in the air. The shelf holders are made of a high resistant material and are encased in the shelf, being practically invisible, making an elegant union. The height of the shelves may be adjusted by using the little holes in the sides. When the shelves have been installed, the remaining lateral holes are practically invisible because of their small size. The standard and deep drawers in grey finish are high tech quality with totally removable runners. The side panels are designed to hold innovating equipment for both standard and deep drawers. The soft closing mechanism Silent-Plus is included in all door styles/price groups. The tower unit fittings are concealed behind the back panel, and the weight is borne between the roof and the side panels. Adjustments can be made from the inside of the unit. All the interior fittings of the unit are top quality and highly functional down to the smallest details. The perfect finish in metallic grey combines with all colour options of the carcass to create a harmonious tone outstanding in its state-of-the-art, avant-garde design. All of the sink, refrigerator and cleaning product units are supplied with a water-resistant aluminum base tray to protect the units from the damage caused by slight leaking thanks to their lateral ledges and jointless back pieces. The structure pieces are assembled with hard wood dowels glued on at the same time as the back panel is inserted. This system guarantees the stability of the unit. The hinges used by Gamadecor are entirely made of metal, adjustable in three directions, and their opening bay varies between 110º and 168º depending on the type of unit. The special anchoring system of the hinge to the carcass and the door with dowels and screws prevents the doors from sagging and the screws from coming loose with daily usage. The clip system enables the doors to be assembled and disassembled without any need for tools. The leg stands and plinth legs are made of a solid, compact material to provide greater rigidity and resistance. The fittings are mounted in such a way that the weight of the units and worktops (especially granite) is borne by both the side and base structure, which prevents the unit from sinking. 36 RESIDENCE Kitchen qualities, manufacture and explanation TOWER UNITS 16mm-thick water-resistant chipboard carcass, laminated with a 120 g/m2 decorative overlay in a smooth Grey Bruma or Yeso-coloured finish. All the edges of the carcasses and shelves are faced with 1mm-thick ABS edging tape, bonded with PUR adhesive with an extra high resistance to impacts and high temperatures. Back panel made of 8mm laminated board (in the same finish as the carcass), inserted into the horizontal and vertical grooves of the carcass and glued in place. The different sections of the carcass are assembled using hard wood dowl pins and glued at the same time as the back panel, using different presses. This guarantees full stability. The hinges are 100% metal, adjustable in 3 dimensions. They have an opening angle that ranges from 110º to 165º, depending on the type of unit, and a soft-close system. Thanks to the hinges clip mechanism, the doors can easily be mounted or removed without tools. The legs of the unit are made of solid compact material for extra rigidity and resistance. The bases of the legs are mounted in such a way that the weight of the units and countertops (particularly granite ones) is evenly distributed between the sides and the base, thus preventing the units from gradually collapsing. The ABS legs can be adjusted from -15 to +25 mm. The shelf supports are made of resistant material and include an anti-tip mechanism. The height of the shelves can be adjusted using the holes in the side panels. The drawers and deep drawers, with their cutting-edge design, are gris metalizado coloured. They are equipped with full-extension ARCITECH drawer slides, so that the front panel can be taken off without tools and adjusted 3 dimensionally. With this system, the drawers can withstand a weight of up to 80 k. All the drawers and deep drawers feature a soft-close mechanism. A wide range of optional accessories and organizers made of wood, aluminium or ABS plastic are available for use inside the drawers and deep drawers. Concealed behind the back panel, the fastening system of the wall units is designed to distribute the weight between the top and sides. The units can be adjusted from the inside. The glass fronts have a 20mm aluminio-coloured aluminium frame, and glass with a structured finish. The doors can be: 19mm-thick laminated doors with ABS edging tape, or 20mm-thick glossy HPL doors with ABS edging tape. The soft-formed edges have been machined to the required shape and then wrapped with a single-layer edging band, using high-resistance PUR adhesive. With laser edging, a more long-lasting bond is ensured, the joints are almost invisible, and because no glues or cleaning solvents are used, the environmental impact is much lower.
