2 Credit Card Merchant Processing Designed to process your credit card merchant payments, using the data you have already entered into Trams Back Office. Partnerships have been formed with credit card processing companies to bring you competitive rates. Requirements An Internet Connection Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher Trams Back Office 3.0 or higher An account with a Credit Card Processing Company Compatible with Trams

Cost - Pinnacle Payment Solutions One time setup fee of $149 Paper Statement Fee of $7.00 per month Transaction Fee of 35 and under, per Transaction Discount Rate of 2.45% with Visa and MasterCard Discount Rate of 2.75% - 3.0% with American Express Discount Rate of no more than 3.0% with Discover Discount Rate with Diners Club is negotiable Processing available to Canadian agencies also. 4 Cost - National Transaction Corporation No setup fee for Trams Customers Monthly Statement Fee of $10.00 per month Transaction Fee of 25 to 35 per Transaction Discount Rate of 2.19% 3.39% Processing available to Canadian agencies also, with Discount Rates from 2.29% % If processing a $30 service fee paid with a Visa credit card through ARC, you pay a processing fee of 3.50%, costing you $1.05. Processing rates with the Trams partners for Visa credit cards are as low as 2.19%, and therefore a $30 service fee would only cost you 65. That s a savings of 40 per transaction. How many service fees do you process in one month?

5 How Does Processing Work? How Does Processing Work? Once you have applied and received an account with either processing company, using the CC Merchant Reconciliation in Trams Back Office, you can merchant credit cards using the data in your Trams Back Office database.

6 How Does Processing Work? CC Merchant payments entered in Trams Back Office are sent electronically to your credit card processing vendor. How Does Processing Work? Your credit card transactions are then processed by the vendor and an approval code is sent back to Trams Back Office. The payments are then marked cleared and a journal entry created.

8 Frequently Asked Questions Can I process refunds? Yes. A payment made in Trams Back Office with a payment method of CC Merchant is processed as a negative amount. Frequently Asked Questions When does the money go into my account? Pinnacle Payment Solutions - the money is usually deposited into your bank account within four days of the transaction being processed.

9 Frequently Asked Questions When does the money go into my account? National Transaction Corporation - the money is usually deposited into your bank account within two days of the transaction being processed for Visa & MasterCard and four days for all others. Frequently Asked Questions Can I process transactions that are not service fees? CC Merchant processing is based on payments with the CC Merchant payment method, therefore no matter what type of transaction the invoice is (service fee, tour, etc.) it can be captured for processing. However, the processing vendor has to allow it.

10 And yes.. Both Pinnacle Payment Solutions and National Transaction Corporation allow all types of transactions to process. Frequently Asked Questions Can I process UATP Cards? UATP Card can be processed through Pinnacle Payment Solutions only.

11 Frequently Asked Questions What do my agents need to do? Your front office can enter CC Merchant payments either through ClientBase Plus or interface them through your GDS, using the formats outlined in the Trams Back Office Interface Guide for your particular reservation system. The formats consist of one or two accounting lines that are entered in addition to any descriptive entries in the Passenger Name Record.
