3 University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) A multi-functional Totara learning platform for 10,000+ users Medical Protection Society - membership organization with 375,000 members Course marketing website and online store UCLH wanted an e-learning platform that was easy to use, accessible from anywhere, and that allowed them to provide high quality training and education to 10,000 employees of varying nationalities, and with varying levels of IT skills. It needed to provide support, education and training for trainee junior doctors and nurses, as well as all other existing staff. MPS required a web-based solution to provide e-learning courses to their 375,000 members, as well as allow the general public to purchase course access online. In addition, the solution had to support organizational members of MPS, allowing them to set up their own user groups and access reporting. MPS also required the migration of membership data from their existing solution to the new system. Webanywhere created a custom Totara LMS solution, including configuration of audience management and hierarchy setup, creating a platform that was ready to use by staff. Webanywhere delivered a combined solution, using Totara LMS as the course management and delivery system, with a Drupal powered web store to allow courses to be purchased directly. The simplicity for our staff supports our onboarding process as well as linking to core Trust values, engaging with new staff as they join us. 4 Zara (Inditex) - One of the world s largest fashion retailers 70:20:10 social learning platform for mobile usage Safeway Inc. - US supermarket chain with 1,600 locations Totara LMS via a clustered environment for 180,000 users Inditex needed a social learning platform where its user generated video content could easily be uploaded, accessed and shared to all employees, across the UK and Ireland. They also wanted something that could provide flexible, Just-In-Time training, which would allow access 24/7, from any location. Therefore, the platform needed to be mobile, and designed to be compatible with all device types e.g. tablet or mobile. Safeway were looking to set up a clustered environment to support Totara LMS for 180,000 users, and approached Webanywhere for advice. Webanywhere provided consultancy on the project and assisted with the configuration of a robust server environment to support the large user base. Following delivery, Webanywhere provides ongoing support to Safeway in the configuration and maintenance of the platform. Webanywhere worked in collaboration with Inditex to create a video based learning platform, that could be used on the go and accessed from multiple devices, such as mobile, tablet, laptop and computer. During this event the INview platform was launched by Webanywhere, to over 200 regional store health and safety managers/champions. Webanywhere worked with us as a Totara Partner providing consultancy, support with Totara and working through implementation issues. They have been extremely reliable and demonstrated excellent customer service at all times. It has been a pleasure working with Webanywhere and I would definitely recommend them. 5 Skipton Building Society - How e-learning met industry regulations Rapid e-learning content development Driven by changes in the financial sector, with the FSA becoming the FCA, Skipton Building Society required 13 e-learning rapid content modules to be developed in a very strict time frame. Webanywhere had just four weeks to propose, plan and implement an e-learning solution that met new industry regulations around blended learning. Using Webanywhere meant the 13 modules were all completed well within the timeframe - something, say Skipton Building Society, they couldn t have done themselves. Emerald Group Publishing Drupal CMS based website, with integrated e-store selling LMS courses Emerald required an online e-learning store, which also allowed for certification of assessed courses. Users would be provided with university credits for successful course completion, from the University of Aberystwyth. The system had to allow self-service purchasing of courses, in multiple currencies, and manage defined enrolment periods for each user. Webanywhere delivered a custom solution utilizing Drupal CMS for the web store, which then integrated with the LMS to allow online payment or payment by invoice, and also manage bulk purchasing discounts. We can now focus on softer skills, and give a more blended learning approach. When it comes to training, Webanywhere has helped us focus on the bigger picture. The combined LMS and e-store solution meets Emerald Publishing s need for an integrated platform handling the whole process from payment, through to registration, assessment, user management and certification, including the provision for various currency options and payment types. 6 The British Safety Council - a global health, safety and environmental charity A Moodle LMS and Drupal CMS combined web portal The British Safety Council - Olympic Games project Cloud hosted Moodle solution for 125,000 learners Britsafe wished to transform its online presence by completely redesigning its website to become a content managed information portal for its diverse audiences including an e-commerce store fully integrated with its existing Salesforce CRM. This presented significant design and development challenges in order to deliver the highest possible accessibility, availability and performance for audiences with differing learning requirements. Webanywhere worked closely with Britsafe to confirm the complex requirements before creating an online solution built around the popular and fast-growing open source content management system, Drupal. Britsafe required a robust LMS solution to deliver online Health and Safety training to contractors working on site during the London 2012 Olympic Games. Learners using the LMS need to securely access the video- and quiz-based training materials from various locations (both overseas and in the UK) and in five languages (including Spanish, Russian and Chinese).
