Pickering Graduate Foreign Affairs Fellowship Program provides funding to participants as they are prepared academically and professionally to enter the United States Department of State Foreign Service. For the 2013 Fellowships, financial support of up to $40,000 per academic year for each of a two- year master's degree program will be provided. Each successful candidate is required to serve as a Foreign Service Officer for a minimum of three years. The Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans provides leadership opportunities for New Americans in any professional or academic graduate field. The program seeks to assist new Americans in pursuing their career goals through graduate study at any accredited U.S. institution. Each fellow receives a maintenance grant of $25,000 per year of study for two years. The program pays one half of the cost of tuition up to $20,000 for one academic year. The Fulbright Program brings citizens of other countries to the United States for Master s degree or Ph.D. study at U.S. universities or other appropriate institutions. Foreign students apply for Fulbright Fellowships through the Fulbright Commission/Foundation or U.S. Embassy in their home countries. The Institute of International Education (IIE) arranges academic placement for most Fulbright nominees and supervises participants during their stay in the United States. The Fellowship welcomes applications from young people interested in careers of international service. Fellows may use the fellowship to attend a two- year master's program in a U.S. institution to study any area of relevance to the Foreign Service, including international relations, public policy, public administration, languages, or business administration. The National Security Education Program David L. Boren Graduate Fellowships supports students pursuing graduate study who are interested in international relations as well as future careers in government service. For individuals from World Bank member countries to undertake graduate studies at any university located in a World Bank member country except their own. The Fulbright- Nehru Master's Fellowships for Leadership Development are designed for outstanding young Indians to pursue a master's degree program at selected U.S. colleges and universities in the areas of Arts and Culture Management including Heritage Conservation and Museum Studies, Communication Studies, Conflict Resolution, Economics, Environment, Public Administration, Urban and Regional Planning, and Women's Studies. Muskie Graduate Fellowship Program The program is for highly motivated individuals who demonstrate leadership qualities, have completed the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor's degree, have at least three years professional work experience, and are committed to return and contribute to their communities. These fellowships are for one to two years. The Fulbright Foreign Student Program brings citizens of other countries to the United States for Master s degree or Ph.D. study at U.S. universities or other appropriate institutions. The foundation offers financing through loans to obtain a Master's degree from a reputable University, local or abroad, preferable in matters related to economic and productive activity. These grants finance studies in areas such as business administration, finance, economics, law, international trade, political science, engineering, architecture, international relations, and similar fields. The established limits are $20,000 for studies of one year and $40,000 for studies of two years. To date, the average financing has been $13,000 per year. University and/or graduate program must be an approved host institution. Applications are continually accepted. Awards five to six grants to women from developing countries about $11,000 each year. Approximately 20 ($2,000- $3,000) awards are offered to students in the U.S. in need of financial aid to further their education at the undergraduate or graduate level. One year of non- degree academic study at leading universities and colleges throughout the United States. Fellows concentrate on community, governmental, or corporate affairs. The Leibmann Fund provides fellowships, up to $18,000/year, for students pursuing graduate studies (including law and medicine) at U.S. Institutions. The International Fellowships Program (IFP) provides opportunities for advanced study to exceptional individuals with leadership qualities from around the world. Upon completion of their studies, fellows will work to further development in their own countries and greater economic and social justice worldwide. IFP fellows may study any academic discipline related to the Ford Foundation s three grant- making areas: asset building and community development; education, media, arts, and culture; and peace and justice. Eligibility: IFP Southern Africa will provide scholarships for 300 fellows from Southern Africa to study at prestigious institutions around the world. The Edmund S. Muskie Graduate Fellowship Program is a program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the US Department of State, and administered by IREX. The program 3 November 5 (internal)

Goldberg Scholarship provides opportunities for graduate students and professionals from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan for one- year non- degree, one- year degree or two- year degree study in the United States. Eligible fields of study for the Muskie Program are: business administration, economics, education, environmental management, international affairs, journalism and mass communication, law, library and information science, public administration, public health, and public policy. AIGC administers a grant from the Bureau of Indian Education to provide financial assistance in the form of loans to eligible American Indian and Alaska Natives seeking graduate and professional degrees. The goal is to promote opportunities for careers with tribal governments, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Bureau of Indian Education and Bureau of Indian Affairs funded organizations on and off reservations. To be considered for an the AIGC Loan for Service, the applicant must: - Be an enrolled member of a United States federally recognized American Indian tribe or Alaska Native group; and - Be pursuing a graduate or professional degree as a full time student at an accredited institution in the United States. The Citadel Capital Scholarship Foundation was created in 2007, out of a strong will to contribute to national development through creating high caliber professionals to help enhance Egypt s growth in all sectors. The Foundation is funded by an endowment from Citadel Capital to grant academic scholarships for talented and promising young Egyptian men and women to pursue master degrees and PhDs abroad in all fields of study. The APS Scholarships are open to students who have been accepted or enrolled in a graduate school in the United States. Selection is based on financial need, scholastic achievements, faculty recommendations, and involvement in the Armenian Community. An eligible candidate shall be awarded for a scholarship for no more than a total of two times. The Lee Kuan Yew Scholarship is synonymous with both prestige and a willingness to serve Singapore. It marks Singapore's continuous effort to recognise outstanding individuals with the aptitude and inclination to contribute to our society. Scholars must be Singapore citizens with outstanding academic records, and can pursue either Master's or PhD programmes at local or overseas universities. There is no restriction on the course of study. Kosciuszko Foundation Tuition Scholarships support American students of Polish descent for full- time graduate studies in the United States. Foundation (CIRI) Scholarships Edward E. Graduate scholarships are offered for study towards a Master s or Doctorate degree. They may also be used for graduate research, if required by a specific academic program. Scholarships are awarded for an initial period of one academic year and may be renewed subsequently for up to one additional year if funds remain available and if the renewal is necessary to complete the program of study or research for which the scholarship was initially awarded. The total financial award from the OAS may not exceed US$30, per academic year. The Leo S. Rowe Pan American Fund, or the Rowe Fund, is an educational loan program of the Organization of American States (OAS). The Rowe Fund helps citizens from Latin America and the Caribbean OAS Member countries finance their studies or research in accredited universities across the United States by awarding interest- free loans for up to $15,000 dollars. These loans are granted on the understanding that recipients agree to repay the loan in full and return to their home countries to apply their knowledge and training as well as continue to promote cultural exchange and development in the region. Various scholarships, grants, and internships are available for Alaska Natives of the Cook Inlet Region (Eskimo, Indian and Aleut). The CIRI Foundation scholarships are available for post- secondary undergraduate and graduate studies. Education grants are offered for technical and vocational training. Scholarship and education grants are limited to eligible, qualified, and selected Alaska Native beneficiaries. The USINDO Edward E. Masters Fellows Program funds the education and manages the placement of top ranked officials from Indonesian Ministries at leading schools in the United States. Masters Fellows are nominated by their Ministry and must meet the requirements of the Masters Fellows Program, with exacting standards applied by USINDO and other committee members during the selection process. International Fellowships are awarded for full- time study or research in the United States to women who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Both graduate and postgraduate studies at accredited U.S. institutions are supported. Applicants must have earned the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor's degree by September 30, 2012 and must have applied to their proposed institutions of study by the time of the application.
