With 7 figures. Anobiidae, Chrysomelidae, Cholevinae, Curculionidae, Elateridae, Leiodidae, Pselaphinae, Staphylinidae, Tenebrionidae, Hungary, new records. INTRODUCTION While collecting in various parts of Hungary and revising materials of public and private collectings further species were found in 2012 that proved to be new to Hungary. The families are arranged in alphabetical order. The localities also listed in alphabetical order are grouped according to the Hungarian counties. Translation of Hungarian words written on the specimen labels and comments are in brackets. ANOBIIDAE Microbregma emarginatum (DUFTSCHMID, 1825) (Fig. 1) Gyõr-Moson-Sopron county: M[osonmagyar]óvár, 2.VI.1935, leg. D. RÉVY (1, HNHM); Pinnye, 27.V.1915, leg. R. STREDA (1, HNHM); same locality, 18.V.1917, leg. R. STREDA (1, HNHM). Identified by T. NÉMETH. Hungary is listed among the countries of occurrence of this widely distributed Palaearctic species by ZAHRADNÍK (2007). However, it must be based on specimens collected in regions that now belong to the surrounding countries, because until now no record was published from present-day Hungary. Its larval development is associated with Norway spruce. Proposed Hungarian name: csúcsostorú kopogóbogár. CHRYSOMELIDAE Dibolia oudai ÈÍ EK, 2007 (Fig. 2) Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county: Bükki NP, Miskolc, Nagy-mezõ, 850 m, Lolio-Cynosuretum, fûhálózás [= sweep netting], 23.IX.1982, leg. E. VÁGÓ (1 male, HNHM). Identified by MANFRED DÖBERL (Abensberg, Germany). The species was described from Slovakia (ÈÍ EK 2007). Proposed Hungarian name: borsfûföldibolha. CURCULIONIDAE Ceutorhynchus subpilosus C. BRISOUT DE BARNEVILLE, 1869 (Fig. 3) Pest county: Fót, Somlyó-hegy (EOV X: , Y: ), 30.V.2012, fûhálózás, Alyssum alyssoides-rõl [= swept from Alyssum alyssoides], leg. V. SZÉNÁSI (1, CVS); Tura, Daru-halom (EOV X: , Y: ), 30.V.2012, fûhálózás, Alyssum alyssoides-rõl [= swept from Alyssum alyssoides], leg. V. SZÉNÁSI (1, CVS). Identified by VALENTIN SZÉNÁSI. This species is distributed in the southern part of Europe (mainly in the south-east) (VELAZQUEZ DE CASTRO 2004). Proposed Hungarian name: ternye-ceutormányos.

Szénási ELATERIDAE Ampedus nigrinus (HERBST, 1784) (Fig. 4) Vas county: Kõszeg, Hörmann-forrás, vörösen korhadó luctönkbõl [= from red-rotten trunk of Norway spruce), 15.III.2012, leg. T. BÁN, A. KOTÁN, GY. NÉMETH, T. NÉMETH & B. SZELENCZEY (4, CBS, 1, HNHM). Identified by T. NÉMETH. This species is widely distributed in the Palaearctic region (CATE 2007). It is not uncommon in the spruce zone of the neighbouring countries of the Alps and the Carpathians. In Hungary it was found in the westernmost part, the only region of the country, where Norway spruce is indigenous. However, its occurrence cannot be ruled out in the extensive spruce plantations of the north-eastern mountains. Proposed Hungarian name: ébenpattanó. LEIODIDAE: CHOLEVINAE Choleva (Choleva) spinipennis REITTER, 1890 (Fig. 5) Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county: Halmaj, Nyilas, 2001.VII.18., leg. G. HEGYESSY (1, HNHM). Identified by O. MERKL, confirmed by JAN RÙ IÈKA (Department of Ecology, Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Czech University of Life Sciences, Prague, Czech Republic). The species is known to occur in several European countries, mainly in the eastern part (PERREAU 2004). This male specimen was collected with pitfall traps near the Hernád river, on a wet spot with alder and willow trees, surrounded by ploughland. Proposed Hungarian name: hegyesszárnyú nyurgapecebogár. STAPHYLINIDAE: PSELAPHINAE Batrisodes buqueti (AUBÉ, 1833) (Fig. 6) Fejér county: Martonvásár, kastélypark [= castle park], Sz. L. patak part [= side of Szent László stream], mezei juhar avar [= leaf litter of field maple], rostálva [= sifted], 20.II.2011, leg. MARCELL MOLNÁR (2, HNHM). Identified by ROSTISLAV BEKCHIEV (National Museum of Natural History, Sofia, Bulgaria). This species is known to occur in several countries of Southern Europe and in Asiatic Turkey (LÖBL & BESUCHET 2004). Proposed Hungarian name: domborúfejû tapogatósbogár. TENEBRIONIDAE Allecula rhenana BACH, 1856 (Fig. 7) Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county: Pácin, Mágócsi-kastély, 17.VII.2010, leg. G. HEGYESSY & A. PODLUSSÁNY (1, CDS, 2, KFM) Gyõr-Moson-Sopron county: Fenyõfõ, tölgybõl [= from oak], 13.VII.1981, leg. A. PODLUSSÁNY (1, CDS); Fenyõfõ, Quercus korhadék [= wood pulp of Quercus], 19.VII. 1981, leg. D. SZALÓKI (2, CDS) Pest county: Márianosztra, Nagy-vadálló, tölgyes, tölgy-

J. SÁR & M. RINGLER (1, CDS, 1, HNHM). Vas county: Sárvár, Sitkei-erdõ, Quercus robur törzsén éjszaka [= from trunk of Quercus robur at night], 13.VII.2012, leg. D. SZALÓKI (2, CDS). Identified by DEZSÕ SZALÓKI. According to NOVÁK (2007) Hungary is the only country in Central Europe where this species is not known to occur. However, a revision of the collected materials of Allecula morio (FABRICIUS, 1787) resulted in a few specimens of A. rhenana.
