With the University Land Steward and All Campus Arboretum Committee; development of WSU Landscape Arboretum including landscape arboretum trademark, sponsorship program with Office of Development, Friends of the Arboretum volunteer program, arboretum website, TreeKeeper tree inventory with Davey Resource Group, landscape arboretum master plan with RDG Planners, Arbor Day planning. Responsibilities include supervision of grounds staff, planning for and providing leadership for campus landscape, infrastructure planning, and capital projects. Administer the campus transportation plan. Budget planning, recommendations and monitoring of expenditures. Performed grounds keeping duties: Litter control, mowing, trimming and edging, irrigation scheduling and maintenance, seeding, sod installation, aeration, pesticide application, fertilization, topdressing, pruning, snow removal and ice control, sports turf care, street and parking lot cleaning, parking control, and campus cleanup. Conduct a complete inventory of irrigation system with information applied to CAD. Continued improvements to irrigation system in form of system additions, new well, and troubleshooting present system.
