8 Introduction - NLRMP The National Land Records Modernization Programme (NLRMP) is launched by Government of India in August 2008, Conceptualized as a major system and reform initiative that is concerned not merely with: o Modernize management of land records, o Minimize scope of land/property disputes, o Enhance transparency in the land records maintenance system, o Facilitate moving eventually towards guaranteed conclusive titles to immovable properties in the country. 14 Gujarat Re-Survey Projects Initiated to resurvey agricultural lands of Jamnagar district on pilot basis. IIC Technologies was assigned the responsibility. Work commenced with the execution of the micro-pilot phase. IIC Technologies IIC Geo Surveys
15 Re-Survey Project Each Project is given Two years for completion. It involves the following actions : o Laying of Monumentation Stones o Taking GPS Observations o Doing Pre-survey activity o Carrying out Survey o Doing Post survey activity o Generation & submission of Deliverables to the department Involves close interaction with the farmers, Village Committee, Sub Division officers, and the DILR. 47 Planning and Provision of GCPs The Field Plan for provision of Post-Pointed control is worked out before commencement of field work. Input Raw Orthos will be used to plan control point locations DGPS observations will be made for Horizontal control points using Trimble R4 Differential Spirit Levelling will be used for providing Vertical control points. The planimetric accuracy within ±5 cm. The height accuracy within ±10 cm (Plain areas) and ±50 cm (hilly areas ).
