2 The Allegheny County Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Services provides supports, through a variety of community-based agencies, and recovery-oriented services designed to prevent and treat substance abuse and addiction. These services respond effectively to immediate needs while utilizing the strengths of individuals and families, to assist people in treatment and recovery to live successfully in their community.
