II. Eligibility: (a) FULL-TIME: Candidate with Master s Degree in the relevant subject with not less than 55% of marks or 5.51 in Grade point average scale under CBCS. The candidates who have qualified for the Master s Degree prior to , with not less than 50% of marks, are also eligible to register for M.Phil. Programme in this University. SC /ST candidates are given 5% exemption from the prescribed minimum marks. (b) PART-TIME: Any citizen of India, irrespective of their employment status, who wishes to pursue M.Phil. programme are eligible to register under Part Time Research, provided they fulfill the eligibility norms.

12 APPLICATION FORM: The common application form will have to be used to get admission in any of the above listed subjects and institutions (Full-time & Part-time). WHILE FILLINGUP THE FORM, THE CANDIDATES SHOULD ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES: 1. Item No.2: Write the numerical code number of the subject in the first three boxes and the name of the subject in the appropriate box. 2. Item No.15: PG Degree: Enter the total of maximum marks and the total of marks obtained by you for all the papers (including Internal Assessment and Project) under the columns Max and Obt respectively.
