5 Stakeholder Analysis Step one: stakeholder identification Stakeholders are defined as individuals or groups that have a legitimate interest in the progress or outcome of a process or a project. 11 stakeholders were identified: patients, practitioners in private practices, emergency medical services and mobile homecare, hospitals and nursing homes, application developers, statutory and private health insurances, device developer, telecommunication companies, policy maker, pharmaceutical industry
6 Stakeholder Analysis Step two: stakeholder classification Key stakeholders Key stakeholders are a subset of stakeholders who have the power to prevent the project from achieving its full set of objectives and potentially may cause the project to fail (Bourne 2009) Key stakeholders are: patients (P), practitioners in private practices (PPP), emergency medical services and mobile home care (EMS/MHC), hospitals and nursing homes (HNH), application developers (AD), statutory health insurances (SHI)
