1 UWT Nursing Faculty Research and Scholarly Interests All Master of Nursing (MN) students engage in systematic inquiry by completing a thesis or scholarly project. Regardless of which option is selected, each student is required to have a supervisory committee approve their plan prior to starting. The following summary highlights the expertise, and scholarly and research interests of UWT nursing faculty, and is intended to assist students in forming their supervisory committee. A supervisory committee consists of a minimum of two members. The chairperson of the supervisory committee must be a full-time member of our UWT Nursing faculty and hold a graduate faculty appointment. An asterisk (*) preceding the name indicates an individual who is eligible to serve as a chairperson or primary advisor. Students are responsible for scheduling appointments with faculty to discuss ideas and for initiating the process of requesting faculty to serve as their chairperson and as committee member(s).
