4 Tank Operation Tank filling Regular filling Steps: All tank s are open Connect Recirculation hose Start Process (Cooling station) Connect Filling hose Start Loading Maximum filling For LNG the tank should be filled up to 95% content at working pressure conditions. This is mecanically protected by design (ullage space). Filling stops automatically. Tank Operation Tank filling Filling after long parking or First time filling All the s must be close The level indicator must mark zero%. The filling hose is connected to the load coupling If this process is carried out with N2, a nozzle should be connected to the recovery (all N2 sent to atmosphere). If this process is carried out with LNG, the recovery gas hose has to be connected to the recovery Open the manual liquid Open the manual gas to evacuate the gas produced by the tank cooling Make nitrogen flow through the vent until temperature is below -60 ºC Load around 10 kg of liquid. Wait around 3 hours. Load the left tank plus kg on the right tank (so around 140 kg). Tank Operation Truck parking Less than 2 days No especial actions required 2 to 3 Days Refill the tank at around 50-70% Less than one month Park the truck with almost empty tank. Check one a day the pressure in the tank and Start the engine when pressure is over 19 bar until tank pressure is at working pressure (17-18 bar) or below. More than one month Empty the contents of fuel of the tank and lines. This should be done in an authorize establishment Close the filling and re-circulation manual of the tank.
