2 VISION The New York City Leadership Center was launched in 2008 by Concerts of Prayer Greater New York after 25 years of ministry, and as a result of hundreds of leaders requesting additional training resources. Our mission is to exponentially increase the leadership effectiveness of ministry and marketplace leaders. The Leadership Fellows Program will provide access to experts and practitioners to foster innovation and increased organizational performance. As ministry, non-profit and marketplace leaders increase their leadership capacity, we believe Greater New York will become a model for other cities of Christian leaders impacting the spiritual and social climate of an urban center. 3 THE LEADERSHIP FELLOWS PROGRAM AN INVITATION TO JOIN US! The Leadership Fellows Program is an offering of The New York City Leadership Center designed to make high quality, faith-based leadership training available to Christian leaders engaged in executive positions within the social sector. Church leaders, school superintendents, hospital CEOs influencers within the non-profit and ministry sectors are encouraged to apply. The nine-month course will meet once a month and will provide transformational and transferrable leadership skills in areas like strategic planning, time management, staff development and much more, from a Christian worldview. This will be an extremely interactive program highlighted by the personal participation of prominent business leaders, nationally known speakers and regional practitioners. 9 THE LEADERSHIP FELLOWS PROGRAM ADMISSION DETAILS APPLICATION: Complete your application online at or send a hardcopy via mail or by fax. SELECTION: Candidates will be evaluated based on their desire to learn new organizational and leadership skills, to develop them, and to be held accountable for creating a plan to implement them in their own organizations. Also considered is a recommendation from a professional colleague and a current pastor or board member. The Selection Committee will carefully review applications and make recommendations for acceptance on a first-come, firstserved basis. TUITION: The cost per person for the program is $5,000, which is subsidized for every accepted participant. Registration for The Leadership Fellows Program is $2,500, which includes the $250 application fee. These fees can be paid by check, MasterCard, Visa, American Express or online via PayPal. Fifty Percent (50%) of the tuition is due within 30 days of acceptance; the remainder is due by October 17. Payment plans are available upon acceptance. There will be limited enrollment so early submission of applications are encouraged. I learned how to develop a mission statement which is backed by SMART goals. I discovered and harnessed several thousands of dollars of formerly untapped revenue for our outreach. None of this would have been possible without the Fellows Program.
