19 Files must be submitted in Press Ready format. Files that are not Press Ready will be subject to additional surcharges. To avoid fees and production delays, please have your files prepared for output before uploading them. Proper file setup ensures that your files print as you intended without production delays. File Requirements Native Formats: QuarkXpress / InDesign / Illustrator / Photoshop Vector Files: JPG / PDF / TIFF / EPS / PSD / AI Raster Files: PDF / PSD / PSB / TIFF / JPG / PNG Fonts: Outlined or PostScript Type DPI Resolution in CMYK or Grayscale Large Format File Guidelines 1/4 Bleed and 1/4 Safety An 1/8 bleed is required on all files submitted. Keep all text and important information (including logos) at least 1/8 inside the trim line. Cutting can and will vary, up to 1/8. If you have information (or thin borders) within 1/8 of trim, they may be cut off. Ensure that all raster files (or linked images) are built at least 150 ppi. Lower ppi s are acceptable if your viewers will be seeing the artwork from a distance. Rasterize or Outline any type layers. Remember to keep adequate space for grommets, hems, wind slits or pole pockets. If using a design template, do not flatten the artwork onto the template. If your files do not meet these requirements or if your artwork is not optimized for the printing process please consult with your Account Manager. 20 Our Goal There are many companies out there wrapping vehicles; however, do not let a cheap quote be your deciding factor. At icandy we take pride in maintaining full autonomy of all stages of the wrap process. We know Price is important, but the old saying pay now or pay later applies to auto wraps. Our prices are competative and our installs seperate us from our competitors. We at icandy pride ourselves in the quality of our product, and the proof is in the attention to details. We do it right the first time. On another note, we have an indoor install facility that gives us a controlled environment that is not suject to weather. Aditionally, while most companies only carry general liability, we carry Garage Keeper s insurance which covers your property while in our facility. Vinyl Warranty We use Avery vinyl which has a warranty on the printed product of up to 5 years (prorated for southern US such as Texas/Arizona). All vinyl manufacturers stopped warranting vinyl applied to horizontal surfaces due to extreme conditions from sun/uv & polluted rain. If any other company offers you a longer warranty or more coverage than this, beware, this warranty is the industry standard that all vinyl manufacturers use.
