3 Mounting Finishing Services Lamination Finishing Services Foamcore Foamcore is an economical, lightweight, rigid polystyrene core with a paper veneer front and back. Great for short-term interior projects. Have a project larger than 24 x 36? Consider using Gatorboard to prevent bowing. Indoor Only 3/16 (White or Black) $ 3.50/sq. ft. Gatorboard Gatorboard is similar to Foamcore, but more rigid and durable. Good for larger prints that might bow on Foamcore. Available in two thicknesses: 3/16 or 1/2. The finish works well for inexpensive, short-term tradeshow displays, as well as indoor banners. This laminate can also be used outdoors. Best For: Polypropylene, Vinyl Banner, Adhesive Vinyl, and Backlit Film 2 mil Cold Gloss $2.50/sq.ft. Similar to cold matte laminate but contains an extra UV inhibitor for additional protection from fading. This glossy, scuff-resistant finish works well for adhesive vinyl and backlit displays. It can also be used outdoors. Best For: Polypropylene, Vinyl Banner, Adhesive Vinyl, and Backlit Film 12 mil Cold Lexan $6.50/sq.ft. Lexan is the best laminate to use for tradeshow displays and looks great even with strong overhead lighting.
