2 The pigeon loft Danish Pigeon Race The loft is provided by the Belgian company Punt & Dierkens b.v. The loft is built in Belgian style in a u-shapeform each side is 32 meters long, which is about 6 feet, there is a administration, grain room, computer room and quarantine station. All in all, an 100 meter long loft which is 3 m in depth. All interior in the loft is provided by the German company KIPSHAGEN. In the loft there are 1920 boxes dealed up in 24 rooms incl. droping transport band. The loft is fitted with grate flooring in hardwood with approx. 15 cm from the racks to the floor. There is room for 1800 youngsters. The loft adress is: Askelund Aabenraa Denmark The loft will be managed by 3 experienced fanciers Administration: Martin Hansen ( Care taker morning and afternoon: Kent Olsen, 070 Aabenraa Care taker afternoon: Paul McBurnie, 070 Aabenraa Initial treatment Pre-treatment: All youngsters are vaccinated against Paramyxo on arrival All youngsters are treated against worms and parasites on arrival Each group will be treated against Trichomoniasis when the youngsters have been in the loft for one week. Feeding plan There has been prepared a carefully balanced diet and training plan, which will ensure the optimal diet and preparation for the final day of flight from Göttingen. The youngsters are fed and cared for by the book. During the season the pigeons will be examined by the Dutch veterinarian Henk de Weerd from Belgica de Weerd. The dropings are examined and there will be made bacterial studies as well as the health of the loft will be carefully followed.

Feed: 1/2 Start Plus + 1/2 Active Life + B-Pure + Garlic Oil from Versele Laga Wednesday: Clean water + Ducolvit. Feed: 1/2 Start Plus + 1/2 Active Life Thursday: Clean water. Feed: 1/2 Start Plus + 1/2 Active Life Friday: Clean water + Herbolan. Feed: 1/2 Start Plus + 1/2 Active Life Saturday: Clean water. Feed: 1/2 Start Plus + 1/2 Active Life + Digestal + FormOil from Versele Laga Information in the season From the 15 of May there will weekly be sent information via the website and via from Brevduernes Venner. The information may relate to the facts of the loft, including the health of the youngsters, training plans etc. If You would like to visit the loft during the season, this can only be done in agreement with Paul McBurnie Loftmanager phone: or Martin Hansen phone: Vitaminprogram There will be used vitamin program developed by Versele-Laga. Sunday: Clean water. Feed: 1/2 Start Plus + 1/2 Active Life If the dropping are watery there will ge given either additional Herbolan and/or Digestal. In addition, of course, there will be given fresh grit and piksten every day from Versele-Laga. After the 15 of June the youngsters will be primarily fed with Junior Plus basic feed from Versele-Laga. Monday-Sunday: Between the hours the youngsters are let out and called in after a few hours of flight. At the beginning the youngsters will initially be let out in teams to minimize losses. The youngsters will only be let out if the weather allows it. In the time between the youngsters will be fed. In the racing season the pigeons will not be let out during the weekend.

4 The pigeon loft Ducolvit: Liquid multivitamin that can be used throughout the year. B-Pure: 100% yeast. Garlic Oil: Concentrated garlic oil. Form Oil: Multioil with 10 different kinds of oils. Delivery Delivery of the youngsters is on April 20th and on April 27th 2013 between 9.00 am. and 1.00 p.m. There will be used TIPES as electronic system. On arrival all the youngsters will be ringed with TIPES rings and they will be vaccinated against paramyxo. On arrival, pigeons with symptoms of illness will be rejected. The youngsters must be min. 30 days old. Refer to FCI, we recommend that the youngsters are vaccinated about 1-2 weeks before arrival. This is due to the fact that the vaccine should be 100 % effective 1-2 weeks after the injection. Pigeons which have not been paid for, will be rejected, just like youngsters without pedigree which also will be rejected. Danish Pigeon Race

5 Competitions & prizes Prizes The final takes place from Göttingen (ca. 400 km). 1st prize - ddk ( ) + vandrepokal + pokal + diploma + photo 2nd prize - ddk ( 7.000) + pokal + diploma 3rd prize ddk ( 5.000) + pokal + diploma 4th prize ddk ( 3.000) + diploma 5th prize ddk ( 2.000) + diploma 6th prize ddk ( 1.333) + diploma 7th-10th prize ddk ( 800) 11th-20th prize ddk ( 533) 21st-30th prize ddk ( 400) 31st-50th prize ddk ( 333) 51st-70th prize ddk ( 267) 71st-100th prize ddk ( 200) 101st-260th prize ddk ( 135) (These prizes demand min paying participants) HOT-SPOT Flights 6 trainings flights will be marked as HOT-SPOT Flights + the final, as one can see on the Training Programme. These flights will also be a part of the Ace- Pigeon and the Knock-Out Competition. Its all training flights longer than 80 km. On every HOT-SPOT Flights there is dkk (267 ) to the winner of this flight - that means that every pigeon participating on this training flights can win this prize. ACE-pigeon competition (The 6 HOT-SPOT flights + the final meaning shortest accumulated time) 1st prize ddk ( 2.000) + pokal 2nd prize ddk ( 1.333) 3rd prize ddk ( 667) Knock-Out competition (The 6 HOT-SPOT flights + the final) 1st prize ddk ( 2.000) + pokal 2nd prize ddk ( 1.333) 3rd prize ddk ( 667) Auction The first 10 pigeons will be sold on the day of the final. The rest of the youngsters will be sold online by M&C Hansen ( 50% of the sale (if over 20 Euro) goes to the breeder. Disaster-flights If the prizes are not awarded because of the pigeons do not come home, the payouts will be transferred to the follwoing year. If we can not race because of sickness or like 2002 because of Newcastledisease or something alike, the prize money will go over to the next year. If we can not race, every person which has pigeons in the loft the day of the finale will have the possibility to send another pigeon free of charge the following year.
