2 For IKEA er det viktig at underleverandører oppfyller standard krav innen lovgivning, miljø, arbeidsmiljø, sosiale forhold og kontinuerlig forbedring. De krav som spesifiseres er elementære og relevante for alle organisasjoner, uansett type virksomhet. Det som IKEA legger opp til er at for å kunne være en godkjent leverandør til IKEA må punktene i IWAY Standard være oppfylt og etterleves.

6 26 CHAPTER 1 GENERAL CONDITIONS & LEGAL REQUIREMENTS IWAY Compliance commitment signed by SP Communication of IWAY to employees and subcontractors SP carries out an internal IWAY audit every 12 months SP has license to operate SP has a list on IWAY relevant laws and regulations

11 31 CHAPTER 6 Fire Safety SP has documented fires and fire incidents (reported to authorities) SP co-workers have got fire safety instructions SP has appropriate fire fighting equipment and emergency exits The fire fighting equipment is checked at least every 12 months SP has evacuation plans and perform evacuation drills

15 35 CHAPTER 9 Wages, benefits and working hours SP co-workers are employed according to applicable laws and regulations SP co-workers have a written contract SP has payroll and attendance records SP meet legal demands on working hours, driving hours, overtime compensation for overtime time off (days off, breaks...) minimum wages, payment time benefits

18 38 CHAPTER 12 Discrimination no discrimination due to race, creed, sex, marital/maternal status, age, political affiliation, national origin, sexual orientation or any other basis prohibited by law. SP decisions (e.g. hiring, salary, promotion, termination, retirement...) are based on individual skills and ability to do the job.
