Designed and ran the wireless pilot for the laptop program at Longwood College. This successful pilot resulted in the creation of a wireless umbrella on campus. Designed and ran a pilot project using Smartforce CBT to provide online technology training to students, faculty, and staff. The result of this pilot was a contract for three years with Smartforce. This was a requirement for all students at the College. 4
5 Converted WMLU FM from a class D FCC license to a class A license and obtained NPR programming for the community. Chaired the committee that wrote the RFP and the contract with Dell for the student laptop initiative at Longwood College. Designed and implemented the Instructional Technology Associates program to assist faculty in incorporating appropriate technologies into the curriculum.
