The LMS establishes and maintains an environment in which students and staff can work at a productive level. 2. The LMS demonstrates in selection, acquisition, circulation and maintenance of materials and equipment, keeping the needs of diverse students in mind. 3. 4 STANDARD IV - The Library Media Specialist keeps current on instructional knowledge and seeks and explores changes in teaching behaviors that will improve student performance. 12. The LMS engages in professional growth through membership in professional organizations and attendance at their conferences and workshops. 14. The LMS appropriately uses technology as an instructional tool, integrates technology into teaching and learning activities, continues to grow professionally in the application of technology in the classroom, and successfully completes the appropriate LMS evaluation according to the district technology assessment timeline.
