1 How To Sell NC Newspaper Networks It s Simple Really! Here are answers to FAQs: 1) Who can I sell these network ads to? We ve had success selling these networks to many different types of advertisers. Network options are affordable and can be a great add-on to an advertisers current campaign. Here s a quick summary of some of the categories: Potential target advertisers for the 2X2, 2X4, and 1/4 Page Display Network: Tourist Events and Festivals, Law Firms (class action suits), Auctioneers, Non-profits, Medical Equipment/Supply, Vacation Rentals, Education (online degrees, regional degree programs), Home Improvement (vinyl siding, steel buildings, swimming pool) Potential target advertisers for the Classified Network: Employment (truck driving companies, job fairs), Auctions, Vacation Rentals, Education (online degrees, regional degree programs), Home Improvement (vinyl siding, steel buildings, swimming pools) 2) I have someone interested in advertising on one of the networks. What do I do next? Check out the sales fliers for more details, but here s a quick overview: 1. Advertisers choose the market. (statewide or region) 2. Advertisers choose the week. (Ad runs 1x in each newspaper based on a Monday-Sunday schedule). 3. Bill your customer as you normally would - for the full cost of the ad. 4. Send NCPS the ad order using the attached form along with the ad copy. We will confirm the order and send you an invoice. 3) How does my newspaper benefit from selling one of these network ads? You make money! Your paper keeps 50% of the cost of a 2X2, 2X4 or Classified ad, or 15% of the cost of a 1/4 Page Display Network ad. A media kit with prices, available regions and an order form is attached. Add your newspaper s logo and contact information in the space provided at the bottom of the fliers, and you re ready to sell! Stay updated! We re adding newspapers and updating circulation regularly. Visit for the latest sales fliers. The bigger picture...revenue made from any of these networks goes directly back to your newspaper in the form of member services offered through NC Press Association. These services include, but are not limited to, lobbying and the legal hotline. Selling these networks makes money for your paper, NC Press Association and keeps the newspaper industry strong. Have questions? Contact us: ads@ncpress.com or
